I recently discovered that my correct bra size is 32D a tiny bustline and a huge boob size..this whole time I've been wearing the wrong size.
does anyone share the same bra size as mine ? I feel like they're sort of an unusual combination..atleast this is what I hear when trying to purchase a bra!

My correct bra size is 32DD but it's not that easy to find and I wear 34D instead which is easier to find. The fit is not perfect but is the best option for me besides 32DD.

The weird thing with me is, my boobs are not big at all!! They are rather normal actually.. I don't understand how I got to be a DD (and in Holland, an E ), but they fit me perfectly somehow.

I found a 32 band near impossible to find in North America, or there was only a tiny section with one bra in 32 to 34 As to Cs. However, it is more common in Europe and the UK. I'm a 30, which is even more difficult to find. It exists in UK stores Bravissimo, Marks & Spencer, and Debenhams. Go to figleaves.co.uk if you need to buy it online.

maquillage - Maybe they don't look that big because the smaller the band size is, the smaller (flatter and wider) the cups are too. i.e. A 38A cup is the same as a 28E (or DDD), only the underwire for the 28F is wider and the fabric of the cup sticks out less.

Ugh, I wear a US 32DDD/E (I'm about 160cm) and every time I go to buy a bra in France, they stare at me incredulously when I ask for this size it's even really difficult to find this size in Australia. Seriously, I would LOVE to have a small chest. I tend to completely cover my chest up because even a tank top (like Meghan McCain) can look porny. So jealous of all the backless/strapless/braless stuff other girls get to wear!

^ Then just get a mostly full coverage tank top. Not all tank tops are cleavage inducing in themselves. The ones I use for the gym are most certainly not, but yes slightly thicker straps are generally required. How tall are you ckashie?

Foreverandnone, ironically I went corset shopping this weekend for Halloween to buy my first corset and had the paradox of the chest area being too small and the waist area not being tight enough, even on its tightest setting. It was kind of heart-breaking because it was really cute and not as expensive as I was expecting.

I'm as flat as a little boy, but I don't mind. Never did actually... I have a really small posture (size 0 or size 2, it depends) en i'm not tall. I'm always saying: Kate Moss has small boobs either!

it sometimes happens to me, but I have sensitive skin. I always wanted big boobs..that's what you get for growing up in the 90's I guess

Mine always get itchy if I've worn a bra. I've heard the same from other women. When I go without I never get itchy.

This is totally random but I'm a 34C (I've had a breast reduction, the greatest thing I've ever done for myself by the way) and I'm still always on the search for supportive and minimizing bras (I know, I've got issues!)...Anyways, I've recently discovered wearing vintage slips (from the 50s & 60s) instead of a bra. They're actually surprisingly supportive (if you adjust the straps all the way) and they create a beautiful vintage-y shape without being too pointy. Plus they're super romantic!

I think the style of women's bras throughout the decades is very intriguing. You would think that as the years have gone by, we would be wearing more supportive bras but I find vintage ones to be far superior in structure.

my problem is that in a regular tank-top my cleavage is always popping up somehow and in a turtleneck my torsoe looks just wrong..

many times I'd be walking in a mall and I hear comments like..NOT REAL.. SILICONE.. AIRBAGS..

^I think more than anything they give you a better shape, more of a perky teardrop (I don't like the round, basketball effect that modern bras give me).

For the best support, I'm a big fan of adjusting the bra straps the tightest they can go. I know it isn't typically advocated and it's not always the most comfortable but it hikes them up & makes a huge difference. In terms of minimizing, I buy my vintage slips super tight so they minimize them in that way.

it might just be the material and how you are washing your bras. most bras are meant to be handwashed instead of being put in the washing machine.

But if have a bad sleeping pattern for a week, I drop weight in a flash. Its horrible!
So bananas are always a part of my diet!

What do you mean, growing in the 90's? As the cup size gone smaller in those ages?

Personally, I didn't felt that (I was born in 1989)... I'm a 30E (impossible to find in my country) and I'm tiny (5'3'') and I have a small frame and waist (22,8/58). Doesn't sound so appealing when you have your boobs bursting out of everything, like bras, corsets, tops... But I'm happy with my body, anyway... My boobs manage to look pretty acceptable, but clothes are not ready to tiny frames with bigger boobs, really! Shame on designers! Saint Lara's boobs... She should design a line for all of us...
