this is one of my favourite threads, and when I bought two gorgeously designed Penguin books of poetry yesterday I immediately thought to share them here!

That's the Metaphysical Poets, published 1966. I love the print!!

The Penguin Book of Modern American Verse, 1955. I tried to take off the price tage but it started to damage the cover so I left it

I had an absolute field day browsing old Enid Blyton illustrators, and stumbling on a huge assortment of covers and illustrators. Hope you all enjoy them!

You know what, I LOVE dustjackets - to me there's so much more art when its on a dustjacket. Its almost like a beautiful wrapping, you can take it off and almost frame it.

Alot of these are first editions, or even on cloth.

and the "endpaper" on the inside of the covers.
