I have both bags on red holdinh for me and I need to call back in 30 mins to make the choice. Anyone please give me some suggestion which one ot get?

Nizlay, oooh the leather looks buttery soft!! I like it. I personally think that's the type of design that would work best in unique colors - not neutral ones like brown or black.

And yes please for any BV bag owner, do not use anything on those lovely bags!! That gorgeous leather is not meant to be treated with anything.

Taitai, I agree about it probably loking best in unique colours. Unfortunately that particular bag has already disappeared from the Bergdorf and Neiman sites! There is another bag on them in a beautiful dark red. I really like that colour too. What do you think?

Nizlay, I love that bag!!! I prefer both the rich red color AND the design actually! I like handbags more than shoulder bags so I'm quite biased. But wow, look at those gorgeous details!

Did you see the white BV tote that Net a Porter included in their top list of accessories. Looks so yummy!

There is a huuuge BV basket bag that I love, a friend of mine has it in brown and it just looks so luxurious.

Taitai, I love that dark rich red. Great for the coming season. The bag on NAP is also available at Neimans....in black and ivory. It is gorgeous, but unlike you I am more of a shoulder bag girl. Having two young kids makes carrying a hand bag a bit difficult at times! Are you going to get the ivory one? Maybe it will be available in the red. I still didn't hear back from BV about colours. I even spoke with the London and Madrid stores and frankly they have very little idea of what is coming other than the limited edition pieces.

Actually Taitai, I think you should get the red one I posted above. I love the design and the subtle embossing. I'm personally not a fan of locks on bags. Too annoying for me. Have you managed to see any of the new bags in person?

Nizlay, thanks so much for the recos, but you know I have my set on the red mixed-colored one I posted on the other page.

I am a sucker for croc and the croc handles are what conviced me. But since I have yet to be informed about the price of the bag, I can't decide. I am also a bit concerned about the size because the one I like doesn't seem to be as wide as I would have hoped. I like big bags and I'm worried that the width might not be more than 30 cm.

I don't think the new collection bags will hit most boutiques until late July-Aug, but I am so looking forward to seeing the bags in person. And if I happen to see the green beauty that you posted, I will alert you.

If you see the new bags, please post a report here! And I will do the same!

By the way, I've been thinking about getting the red woven perforated tote from the cruise collection....

Nizlay, I love the color and design but I have to be honest with you, I'm not such a huge fan of the perforated leather part. The holes aren't so flattering I think. But I love the fact that this design can be BOTH a handbag or a shoulder bag. Sorry, I don't mean to dampen your enthusiasm for this bag.

I'm new to Bottega and noticed some on ebay have these authenticity tags sewed to the lining and some of them do not have this. I've got an authentic hobo that does not have it and am wondering which bags have this or do you know why some have it and some don't?

nizlay, its such a beautiful red irl and that style fits all the stuff you could ever want to put into it.. the only thing is, the clasps often catches onto any delicate articles you might be wearing.. lots of pulled threads if you're not careful

Taitai....I think the perforated leather takes some getting used to. I have the large perforated veneta in the nocce colour and at first I wasn't at all keen on it. I think what I like most about the perforated bags is the ruffled edges that come along with it. It just makes the bag a little different from all the rest. I'm still not sure about the colour though. It seems like a lot of money to spend on a bag if I am not convinced about that.

nizlay, I actually do think the colour of the red bag is gorgeous and would make a wonderful accent/accessory! IMO, I quite like the ruffled edges too, it adds a feminine touch to the bag.

After reading the last few posts, you guys have got me itching for another BV......

Nizlay, you're right, the perforated leather does jazz up the bag. I guess I tend to associate perforated leather with those old Luella Gisele bags. I think if you aren't 100% sold on the color, you should wait. There are just sooooo many gorgeous BV designs out there, you are bound to find out that you totally love. The green one you posted earlier is pretty unique!

You might want to wait until the F/W collection is out? It's bound to be stunning!

Taitai, I ended up going for the red ball bag. I'd better make good use of it! By the way, check out Saks.com. They have updated their Bottega collection and some of them are gorgeous. I love this new Cocker bag....but check out the price!
