I was originally attracted to the color, but the shape is unappealing (and impractical). check out the jessica simpson candids for pics of her carrying it.

Same here, I was reeled in by the luxe color. Jessica Simpson?? Perhaps I need to reconsider.. I seem to remember her most by how she carried the same multicolor monogram speedy for the entire duration of her reality show, newlyweds.

I love that bag travis!! I was thinking about getting it in black (if it comes in black). Looks like it would be a really good, everyday bag.

^its a good everyday bag- i already have the green python version from summer (well it was on sale!). my main hesitation is in that colour suede and autumn weather...

the tote version of the brown - in red. usually i avoided 'man totes' but now i'm embracing them for being soo much more practical- and no shoulder straps to ruin your fave jacket...

Hi! Has anyone seen the new S/S'06 Cabat in metallic silver? I am contemplating before I put my name down for this bag as I am not sure if the silver will be too loud (SA says its not a shiny silver) ... ANybody that has the pics - please post them! Thanks!

If you're talking about the dusty silver, then it's gorgeous. But umm, the silver shiny parts will eventually come off, and what remains will be a matt silver. Still beautiful, no doubt.

Oh no. Sorry I wasn't been too clear just now. It's more like silvery dust, and not silver leather pieces. You'll probably not notice it coming off anyway. And if you don't mind your clothes and other items getting the dust, then it's a nice bag to have.

It's a cool silver. Oh well, how should I put it? It's not grey in any case. A brushed silver will be how I describe it. Shiny brushed silver.

I want a cabat too! Still waiting for the right colour to come along.

Kare2711 - Brushed silver = like lighter shade of pewter? (I am bad with color shades). ;p Hmmm, the SA didnt tell me anything about silvery dust - she made it sound like it was just metallic silver leather... It sounds messy when you describe the dust getting onto my clothings... Kare, where did you see the silver cabat? Have you seen anywhere online where I can see pictures of this new color? (dont see it on BV website yet). Btw, Thanks for the replies!

I saw it in our local shop.

It's just like silver, but a little matt and with lots of dust. Hard to describe. Sorry I couldn't help you more
