I've been getting it done every month for a few years now, no discomfort at all! Once you find someone who is good and someone who trust, you'll be fine Personally I don't find it painful, but I think that might be because I have a high tolerance for pain hahaha. But even for the people who would find it painful, I promise you the results are definitely worth it!!

I read that the ony awkward thing is about it is the positions you have to be in. In order for the waxer to get every strand of hair, your have to hold positions that will allow the waxer to apply the wax and strips.

Seems like an umcomfortable experience...

It's probably not as bad as a bikini wax but much more personal!

There aren't any awkward positions, you lay down the same way as for bikini wax. And yes, the waxer will see as much of you as your intimate partner, if not more But aesthetitians are used to it, so if you decide to try it, there's no need to feel uncomfortable.

I had one on Saturday and the pain wasn't bad. But she didn't take off as much as I expected. How much is normal? I have the strip but i still have hair you know "underneath". She did go down there but not all the way in.

You can try her again and be sure to specify "all of it" clearly. I even have gotten into the doggy style position so they can get the "bunny tail" area. Or she just may not be very good. I went to a lady before who didn't take it all off even in the front. Even after I subtly hinted that she shouldn't be finished yet. Never went back to her. If she leaves you unsatisfied again just find someone else. And if you live in a suburb, get in done in the downtown area at a salon because they have more experience IMO and do it more often. (the crappy lady I went to was in a suburb).

^^ If you asked for a brazilian, then she should have waxed everything everywhere. Maybe she was a beginner and was nervous not to cause damage, idk.

Yeah maybe. I didn't really pay forit because I used vouchers I had got for my birthdya. Thing is I can't find anywhere that does them near me and this was the first place I found.

Depends on the salon but the one and only time I got a Brazilian it was $55

I think it depends on the supply/demand like anything else. When I lived in Hawaii I got a great one for $35. In LA it was about $40 (@ Ziba if you know it). But here in Indianapolis it's $60 ith the tip. I think because here in Indy there are fewer salons who do it so the ones that do can charge more... so now I only can afford it every other months and just put up with it in between.
