Lightening / Coloring Eyebrows

I've never dyed my brows, but I can't imagine it being all too dangerous. Just don't rub it into your skin, and don't drench your washcloth in so much water that it runs into your eyes.

I used Swiss O par eyelash/eyebrow dye kit in brown. it looked horrible- way too dark and if you mess up, there is no going back. i walked around with black strips as eyebrows until they faded. go professional!

I have had my eyebrows bleached to white blonde when I had very light bleached hair, I wanted to do the whole Alison Goldfrapp/Madonna no eyebrows look.......was an interesting effect but i looked very weird so I dyed them back to their natural dark brown.......so basically which ever way you want to go there is an option you can do yourself.........if your from the U.K Boots has all you need !

I bleach my own eyebrows at home...so you should definitely be able to dye yours darker!

You can do it at home safely (you can also dye your lashes at home), but most of the time it does look DIY. I'd go to a prefessional to do it, looks much better.

What do you use to bleach them and how long do you leave the product in?

If you want to bleach your eyebrows you need Joleen bleaching creme as its non drippy so theres very little chance of it getting in your eyes........

i bought the Jolen Creme Bleach today and it worked perfectly! it only took five minutes for me to lighten my brows.

its really easy to use and to follow the instructions. i bought swimming goggles to use but i couldnt see where i was applying the bleach with them on so i took them off. the cream doesnt drip but just to be safe i tilt my head to the side so if the cream does fall, it its not going to fall in my eyes.

naturally i have soft black eye brows, they are medium to thin(tried having thicker brows but i cant handle it because i have small & delicate features)..they look like Kristin Kreuk's size and shape wise.

you can use the spatula to push around the bleach and look at how the color is coming along. i could see after five mins that it was already working so i scraped it off with the little spatula that comes with it and washed off the bleach thoroughly. voila! perfect brows!

my sisters have really light/soft grey brows, they always have to fill them in brow powders but i never had to because mine were darker and the hair is thicker. now i have softer grey but still darker than theirs, if you look upclose you can see a lil bit of brown in my brows so its very natural looking. it goes nicely with the hair on my head which is light brownish/blondeish and im very fair skinned so its great to not have too dark of brows over power everything.

My hair is a medium brown but my eye brows are really light and sparse so I always have to fill them in. I've never thought about dying them...I'm too afraid they'd come out too dark.

^ i think light eyebrows can be really pretty. like on Catherine McNeil, hers are pretty sparse but its cool because its a different look(as in not like Hilary Rhoda even though its 'in' to have darker/fuller brows). they are light because she is a natural blonde but she dyes her hair like a medium/light brown and just keeps her brows all naturel, i find it interesting to look at.

mine are light now..i could do without filling them in but i do prefer it. it just looks so pretty and neat! when i had dark brows, it couldnt never look sparse because they were so dark!

whoooa! i did it!
i bleached my blueblack brows about two shades lighter, using refectocil blonde (that's a salon dye specially made for use on the brows). it worked perfectly smooth, and the new lighter tone suits me just fine!

I've done it a couple of times before and it was fine. But you have to note that you should only bleach if your brows are FULLY GROWN. I mean if you trim your brows or if you plucked some to reduce the thickness and you bleach, the regrowth is gonna be disastrous.

My eyebrows were sparse (plucked) and trimmed when I bleached them and the next day they looked horrible!! Brown tips and black roots. And when I bleached them again the tips became lighter and so on... So yeah I learnt a valuable lesson.

I do it at home... I use a do-it-yourself hair dye ^_^.

I chose a darker color than the one I use for my hair... I really like the effect, very natural.

But I also have to say that's not dramatically different from my natural one (nor the hair color, nor the eyebrows color).
