Dear Shaded Viewers,

You probably know that Bruno Pieters was awarded the Swiss Textiles prize in Zurich November of last year. Ever since then I've been waiting for his debut men's collection. It was a huge success.
The inspiration came from the photo of the Duke of Windsor when he met Coco Chanel.

the handknitted leg warmers are brilliant. i'm taken aback by this. from the previews from last season,on his web site,i was not expecting this. oh it is so good.

well,it was inspired by an image of the Duke of Windsor meeting with Mlle Coco. So,historically,there is something very English and something a bit French in elegance as well....all twisted into a quirky Belgian interpretation.

Im planning on doing a capsule for S/S 08,sssshhhh, nothing is certain yet...

I really like it though, A little too slim for me , but well done and very elegant, while still youthful.........

unfortunately,firstview no longer gives access to past collections,otherwise i'd recommend it to look at all his archived collections. but there's a number of threads dedicated to him on here. just do a search. and you can also look at his web site and there's also a feature on him on contemporaryfashionarchive.
