Precious. Philos last colection was my favourite from the season but this is not too far.
In such a simple way Phoebe made the models look like women from another world, the whole colection was beyond words.

This was absolutely gorgeous ! I loved the cuts and the everyday elegance of it. It's very easy to wear it seems and you will look great ! Really beautiful !

Flawless. I really cannot find one thing I dislike about this collection. All these other designers who have hopped on the minimalist bandwagon need to stop because they will never be able to execute it with the finesse and simple elegance that Phoebe can. Easily one of my favorite collections of the season.

I thought this might become the first Celine collection by Phoebe that I 'get' because the first few looks in this collection are quite beautiful. Although I hate the soft pastel colors I quite like the cuts and silhouettes of almost all looks in post #1, 2 and 3. But from post #5 onwards I hate absolutely everything I find those folded sleeves on the front silly and I have issues with the fabric choices and colors and prints here and I find all those fussy shapes and proportions awkward. This is totally not my cup of tea, I'm starting to believe I will forever not understand the appeal of this brand.

I just love the feminine touch of it; the skirt is very beautiful and refine. The coat is to die for and so practical. Amazing!!!

It's ok that some ppl can't appreciate one designer's look. Some will like Dior, some Gucci, some Balenciaga. But to practice some discretion to yourself. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
After all, if one designer continue to stay true the the DNA of the brand, there will be 'real actual paying customer' who will 'get' it and 'pay' for it. Phoebe's idea of the wardrobe has been from Day 1 since she stepped into Celine. This obviously are for customers who are alr a Celine customer and 'got' it since Day 1. So if u can't 'get' it from Fall 2010, I dun think u'll ever 'get' it even til Spring 2023....if this is not the thread for u. Why look at it and comment?

There's such a beautiful feeling of protection, tenderness and softness throughout the collection, from the fabrics, the colour pallet and all the folding and wrapping in some of the looks. It's cozy, simple but extremely intricate and intelligent. It bring the best in a woman.

Since you're obviously referring to my post, MTRLB. I did comment on finding the first few looks beautiful, didn't I? That so far none of Pheobe's collections have wowed me doesn't mean I don't look forward to seeing what she puts out. And I can appreciate some of her collections even if they don't correspond to my personal taste. But I find so many of the looks here exceptionally hideous, I'm trying to understand why everyone is so excited by this. Besides, designers evolve, I don't have to love what a designer does from day one to like one of their collections, that's why I look at every thread, no matter whether I like a designer/brand or not. Non-fans are allowed to comment, too. And with Phoebe at Céline it just hasn't happened yet that I was truly impressed with anything she's done.

okay I nearly clapped to my laptop, this collection celebrates modernity, luxury and taste so well! Phoebe is the ultimate zeitgeist of this generation when it comes to fashion.

Wow. This is absolutely fantastic. Once again Phoebe leaves her competitors in the dust. Unlike her cheap imitators (which currently constitutes a good 1/3 of working designers), Philo injects her vision of minimalism with real soul and seems to do the whole thing with a smile.

There are so many things to love here. Gorgeous coats, magnificent skirts, beautiful boots, etc. I love it. So much. Bravo.

The coats are exquisite, the skirts have a nice and flattering shape, the dresses are a miss though. Overall, a very soft yet structured collection.
