Calvin Klein "CK One" Fragrance S/S 09 by Steven Meisel

^ agreed! ^_^

that's the only thing I keep noticing too :brows:

Oh these are just fantastic:clap:better than I could have expected after seeing the first 2 shots.

My thoughts exactly ^_^ It's reaaally nice. Nothing too original, yeah. But that's just CK. And IMO, simplicity is the only thing that works for it. So I like it. Very much! :heart: I'm especially surprised about Liu - she looks totally awesome. Just as Anna. But that was expected :P:blush:

I liked the campaign since the begining,and the new shots looks great^_^

Love the new shots. So great to see Caroline Ribeiro in this.

Looking at the website, I don't think Jessica made the cut for the print campaign. :(

I like the ad, but the perfume itself is too masculine for my taste.

I love the backstage pics. Thanks for posting :flower:

press release:

The ads were shot on location at the Big Sky Ranch in Simi Valley, California and feature a cast of 27 men, women, and children from all over the world. Ranging in age from three to 40+, the group includes a pair of sisters, and a mother and son -- all led by musician Jamie Burke. Burke's striking looks and natural rock star persona led to him being cast in the Spring and Fall 2007 Calvin Klein Jeans campaigns. He emerged as the front man of the ck one "we are one" campaign, performing and producing the campaign's original song. ck one campaigns have always presented intriguing casting; the original campaign featured Kate Moss and a group of "Gen X" hipsters including Donovan Leitch, Stella Tennant, Jenny Shimizu, and Kirsten Owen, who also appears in the current campaign.

Set on a mountain top, the television campaign, directed by Francis Lawrence (I am Legend, Constantine), is a free-spirited display of togetherness amongst the t-shirts and jeans clad cast. Television commercials begin airing globally later this month in :60, :45, :30, :20, :15, and :10 spots. The print campaign will premiere in February 2009 magazines around the world. I can't believe how stupid I find this. This fragrance used to have a cool image and now it sounds like from one of those charity songs by a crop of stars they sing every year for christmas.

A perfume doesn't have to sell a message. It's clearer now, the equality thing and all but it's totally irrelevant I think.

At least there was a clear shot of Liu Wen and Sessilee in the commercial...Hopefully this'll translate to Liu working more often with Steven Meisel...

I agree completely :lol::lol:
I found Coco singing a bit cute, but the idea is terrible.

Marcel i completely agree. I think what this campaign is trying to stand for overall is very heart-warming, yet very irrelevant when it comes to a perfume. The hippie tone of the commercial is so try-hard and if they really wanted to go for something that represents us all as one they maybe they should have executed the creative aspect of it very differently because i'm pretty sure audiences will still feel very indifferent looking at a group of hipsters that look like Boyd and models like Coco. They should have kept it cool and simple as they did w/ their other CK one campaigns.

Anyhow i still think the commercial will grow on me because despite how staged it is the "we are the world" tone of love and equality is pretty cute ^_^
