I think that she looks very much like Toni there
but sure there are pictures where she looks like a younger Lara.

I like the campaign but I have to agree with Mr-Dale,

I think Toni looks beautiful, but the campaign is kind of boring. I was hoping that they would continue with the type of campaign they did for SS 07 and FW 07, which was SO gorgeous. Either that or something a bit more sunny and outdoorsy. The show was inspired by Hutterites of Montana, so I think it would have been really beautiful if it were shot in a prairie setting...tall, golden grass, really blue sky, huge white clouds, just a very warm overall feeling.

I'm torn.

On the one hand, I love the lighting. It's moody and ethereal, very beautiful and very Calvin.

On the other, it's almost too shadowy. I would've loved to see those barely there shades of nude and chalk white.

Plus, as Dale said, the pose is awful. A beautiful, linear column like that needs to be shown in it's full glory, tall, statuesque, graceful....not slumped back and open-legged. She looks like it's been a hard night, and who wants to look like that?

In the immortal words of Stevie Wonder, signed, sealed, Toni delivered. I think the direction is fantastic. It shows the clothes being worn; the slinky silhouette, the delicate lines, the romantic gentility: Toni is a hard day's night, looking for a man to conquer. New Calvin girl? Yes, she did it.

Oh gosh.... Very bland. Toni looks like Lara, I agree... They should have played up her features - IMO, the makeup and the clothes aren't flattering for her features (a la Poly in Gucci). Oh Natalia, where art though? I didn't appreciate her in the past, but now I am seeing how perfect she was for the brand.

For the most part, I agree with Spike. I think this pose could've worked had the set design and angle been altered a bit. Maybe it's just me, but the design of the heels is also bothering me from this perspective.

Overall I think this is a very decent ad but I hope the ones that will follow are a little more persuasive.

I think she looks great. I can't imagine Natalia in this campaign, and in a way I'm glad she's gone as of now from Calvin....
