(LOS ANGELES) Given its location at the Santa Monica Airport, it’s fitting that Karl Lagerfeld would go the distance to execute an aviation extravaganza for his cruise show this Friday. So while he isn’t sending his guests, which will include the likes of Emmy Rossum, Demi Moore, Camilla Belle, and Cameron Diaz, into the wild blue yonder, he will nevertheless treat them to a visual feast, having commandeered (and made over, à la Chanel) a jet from which his procession of models—including, as reported, male muses Brad Kroenig and Sebastien Jondeau—will parade. Catching it all from her prime spot on the front row will be none other than Claudia Schiffer, whom Lagerfeld revealed at Monday night’s ICP Awards (where he was honored) he has tapped to star in his Chanel cruise press kit. And where there are models, rock stars are never too far behind: Anthony Kiedis, Cat Power, and Lily Allen will all be on hand for the show and after party in hanger eight as well.

She and Emmy Rossum seem to be at all these fashion functions yet have no major movie projects in the works. Do they both come from a lot of money? How do they fund their endless designer wardrobes. Do they get everything they wear for free?
hmmm i think Camilla is more of a muse for designers. She has great fashion sense and takes lots of risks. So i expect designers give her things to wear. I dont know about Emmy. I mean she has a classy fashion sense, but its repetitive and sometimes too simple. I dont know why designers would give her things for free to wear
They both have wealthy parents, emmy went to a very expensive high school in new york, and camilla the most expensive high school in california. Still, I think most of the dresses you see were lended for a night, but that's just a guess.

I could be wrong, but I don't think Emmy comes from a wealthy background. I could have sworn she went to Spence on scholarship.
I think Emmy does come from a wealthy background. Her mother was a corporate photographer, her father was a banker and she had a nanny. Her parents are now divorced and she shares a Manhattan apartment with her mother.
I'm not too sure how wealthy Camilla's background is but her mother was a designer in Brazil. No idea what the father does but he's from Kansas.
