Within the next two weeks, the 25-year-old beauty will be featured in a commercial, which will touch on her Brazilian heritage. According to WWD, Camilla will also do tap routine in a blue Prada dress, pick up fresh produce at an outdoor market in a cotton skirt by Marc Jacobs, and lounge in a hammock wearing a botanical print dress from Milly.
thefabricofourlivesWhat's a typical day in your life like? Is there one?
There is never a typical day in my life, but I always try and squeeze in certain things. Exercising and reading the paper are always a priority, then maybe I'll watch a classic film, cook dinner, or take a dance class.
Do you have any hobbies or passions?
Musicals were a huge influence for me as a child, so I grew up dancing and singing and still find comfort when I put on my tap shoes or learn a new song. I have an enormous passion for food. I love to eat and I love to cook. Cooking is quite therapeutic for me, and anytime I create a new dish or try someone's recipe, I'm happy.
What event or occasion have you gotten the most dressed up for?
Every time I've gone to the Met Costume Gala in New York, I've gotten quite dressed up in haute couture. That's an event where a woman can have a 'princess' moment without holding back.
Do you prefer to be dressed up or down?
Living in Los Angeles somewhat inspires me to say that I prefer to be dressed down on a day-to-day basis. I enjoy dressing up though when I go to the theater or a fancy dinner.
Do you have a style icon? Someone's look you admire and emulate?
Elizabeth Taylor has been an icon for almost everything, with style being a major factor. My mom has also had a huge influence on me from an early age because of her great taste.
How does your mother's background as a fashion designer affect your style?
My mother's background as a fashion designer has really affected my style, not only because of her technical knowledge, but also because of her impeccable taste and classiness. I have learned everything from her, and she still acts as my stylist when it comes to professional events.
How would you describe your closet? Messy? Organized? Big? Small?
I would describe my closet as being organized and an appropriate size—it's not big or small—quite medium.
What's in your closet besides clothes?
Besides my clothes, I keep my shoes and hats there. I also have a vanity with makeup and hair products in it.
What drew you to the opportunity to do our Cotton commercial? How do you feel about cotton as a fabric?
To begin with, I have always loved the concepts in the Cotton commercials. Every ad is new, beautiful, stylish, and individual. Cotton is also a brand that is universal and global, which is something I'm attracted to. As a fabric, cotton is eternally comfortable. It breathes, and you can stay feeling fresh and invigorated all day and into the night.
Is there anything you want people to know about you they might not already know?
I have many eccentricities that most likely aren't apparent when people read interviews or see pictures of me. I have what's called a Peter Pan syndrome, which means I don't want to grow up. Languages are a passion of mine; I speak three fluently, speak two others quite well, and I want to learn more. I collect stationery, ethnic jewelry, and recipes. Two of my favorite pastimes are to sitting at a café and observing people, and when I'm home, blasting music and dancing around like a lunatic. Some of my biggest dreams are to be in a musical, open a restaurant, and have a happy family.
