The movie was great until, she opened her mouth . She was good in it though, up until that point.

Not just her part, it looked like at some point they didn't know what to do with their story.

I think she can be a good actress - she got great reviews for Jack & Rose movie but since then she has lost something. She needs to let go more - she is holding back. She seems a bit uptight. I think she also has this good girl image she is trying to maintain.

I agree. Everyone says she doesnt have acting skills but she was great in J&R, I just dont know what happened to her afterwards.

I think the only reason she was good, because she was up against Daniel Day-Lewis. She should take up some acting classes.

^It's not like it's easy to go up against Daniel Day Lewis. Paul Thomas Anderson had to replace an actor in 'There Will Be Blood' because he couldn't keep up with Daniel....Camilla simply hasn't chosen good roles/films.

You're right about that, but that's the only movie she's done well in. It's also slightly funny, because I've heard it's Day-Lewis worst film.

I found it to be a quite interesting film written and directed by Daniel's wife. It's not a bad film at all. It's not the only film Camilla has done well in imo but it has been the only good film of hers I've seen.

A lot of people think actors get good scripts thrown in their laps all the time. That's not exactly true. Amy Adams has said she was out of work for an entire year after Catch Me If You Can, which a lot of people considered her breakout role. Camilla just hasn't found a role to put her on the map. Sometimes it takes time.

I didn't say it was a bad film,it's quite fantastic.It's just not regarded as one of Day-Lewis great films. I think another problem may be the way she talks about some of her past films. I think it was 10,000 B.C., where she said she only did it for money. Things like these could be affecting her career(I don't really know, I'm just saying).

Really? If that was the only reason as to why she was good, wouldn't she have paled in comparison to Daniel Day-Lewis as opposed to looking good next to him considering he's an acting legend?
