I have a strong suspicion that much of this is hype .
As Prince says , why not go to Richard James , Kilgour , etc on Savile Row ?
You can get ANY item of men's classic clothing made BESPOKE here , at the highest prices , from these ' reinvented ' traditional tailoring shops , who sport ' design directors ' like James , or Carlo Brandelli at Kilgour ( late ' Kilgour , French and Standbury ' ) , Alexandre of Savile Row etc .
For the more ' realistic ' prices , you can get here , ' made to measure ' items of exactly the same ' modern ' cut , but jackets have ' fused ' interlinings , rather than hand stitched ' floating ' linings . For ALL but the ' bespoke fanatics ' , perfectly serviceable , and you don't have to wear it for 60 years and then pass it on to your grandson , to get the value !!!
There's a whole thread on this here :-

Read for info !!!
As i have said , it's ALL hype .
As Raijin says , £3150 for a ready to wear jacket !!!
You've GOT to be kidding .
You could get TWO made to measure GUCCI suits for that , which help towards Tom Ford's GUCCI pension pot , at the same time !!!
BTW B)
What happened to ALEXANDER McQUEEN bespoke suits from the venerable HUNTSMAN of Savile Row , at £6500 a pop ?
Long flown off into the ether .............
It reminds me of a men's tailoring ' shop ' set up by an Iranian gentleman on Bond Street , London , on the model of a similar enterprise on Rodeo Drive in LA , by the same gentleman in the roaringly affluent 80s , where pret a porter suits made from exotic cloths like vicuna and cashmere cost nearly £10,000 . You couldn't just go in , you had to be ' invited ' to buy items like silk ties at £500 , Italian hand-made crocodile loafers and rtw shirts at £1500 as Ronald Reagan did after his ' invite ' there , while visiting ' that Thatcher woman ' , taking Galanos - clad Nancy along with him .
Needless to say that I myself did not succeed in getting inside the shop !!!
When I tried to enter , I was told to go round to the back of the shop , where I would find the appropriate gear to start scrubbing out the dingy ' Staff rest room '.
Kit , the Montana - clad scrubber .
