Designers Switching Houses & Moving to New Brands

At tonight Kering’s AG, questions about Demna’s succession at Balenciaga have been scheduled - I have asked myself and got an answer that my question has already asked. It does not mean it will be asked cause they certainly cherry pick the questions they want to hear …

:popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:
So sat. Please Francois HP give us some tea :bunny:

Actually. This could be quite interesting. Raf at Balenciaga is an unpredictable one, personally I don’t know what to expect from this one. His work at prada is an epitome of boredom
I wonder if he himself is ready to move on .. ? If Miuccia makes him her successor I actually think the whole tfs will go into mourning lol
i just want him out from Prada...

i understood that Kim with Burberry is not going forward Lee is still in at Burberry

in celebration:

2024 Met Gala with Burberry Naomi - Lee ( & his boy friend makes a cameo :-)

Seeing that Jil Sander is no longer an option and that Burberry can't afford their fourth rebrand in less than a decade, they might decide to keep him in the end.
They have more or less already rebranded since the new ceo took over…been too lazy to unsubscribe from burb’s mailer so been receiving all manner of spam from them. Current campaigns are Chav heaven and the products in store seem to align with that. The photoshoots and branding are very déclassé….ahem…’approachable’. It reminds me of that capacious bag scene in succession again.

These denim brands need to cool it a little bit. Starting to get ridiculous, and there’s only so much one can do with denim these days before you ask what the point of it is.
Also feel its a bit late. Diesel works(ed) because the philosophy and creation of that brand since its inception has been a mix of product, creative marketing, trendy at times - a recipe Glenn understands, and even now its peaked in the last year. Not really sure what Botter's POV can be for G-Star Raw, but probably they blindingly want to follow the success of Diesel's revival and think it can work for them.

Curious to see their direction for a brand like G-Star. With their work at Nina Ricci, we can see how much they seem to be stuck in their own universe.

I like Botter but does G-Star really need a CD? Are they trying to make this a Glenn Martens x Diesel thing?
The question shouldn’t be about Gstar but more about them needing that kind of job. The question then should be: how insane is the salary?
