Capes

i bought a cape from ebay about a year ago and love it! it comes to just below my hips and makes me feel like im from the olden days in london, jack the ripper-esque (without the killings!).

its not the best picture of me cape, but here it is! the collar on it is huge but you cant see it here, lol.

oh i love yours sundaymorning i MUST find a good cape!

very cute ^^ thanks

i am curious about the part where the arm joins the body
is it two pieces?
the sleeve and body

like a sleeve connected to a babydoll dress
Sorry that I am so late! It's one piece :flower:

Heres mine I love it

i have a cape in the same pattern.. ^_^

the shape of mine is a bit different...
a little longer with two slits in the bottom for arm movement..
probably the same brand though i would guess...
mine has navy blue lining..

Brick red tweed cape and matching skirt, early 1960s, labelled, cleverley cut with wide low inset sleeves, integral scarf panels, the skirt with large patch pocket.

that is lovely gius! the geometry, albeit more severe, reminds me of what sruli recht is doing now. i think i posted his work earlier in the thread,if i remember correctly.

btw, regarding the street posts earlier, love that puffa cape and the knitted one that guy is wearing.

I got this awesome purple knitted shrug-cape at a garage sale of a stylist. I almost want it to be fall/winter so I can wear it. Maybe on chilly summer nights.
