Vogue UK says that Carey was in a dress designed by Miuccia Prada and I think I believe them over the dailymail.

CAREY MULLIGAN wore a dress by Prada when she married musician Marcus Mumford on Saturday in an intimate wedding in the heart of the Somerset countryside. Miuccia Prada was busy before the ceremony, having also dressed the groom, the bridesmaids, the ushers and mother-of-the-bride.

When Carey Mulligan walked down the aisle to wed Marcus Mumford on Saturday, the bride wasn't wearing traditional footwear under her wedding dress.

Instead, the Oscar-nominated actress paired her custom-made cream Prada gown with pink Wellington rain boots (it was drizzling during the ceremony), as she said "I do" at Stream Farm at Bridgwater, Somerset in England, a source tells Us Weekly.

The bridesmaids also wore Prada dresses in different shades of blue, the source says.

I can't wait for the MET Gala in two weeks time. Of course she'll be wearing Prada there, too.

I really hope that the bit about the pink wellies is true... glad to see she doesn't take herself too seriously and she just had fun with it! Because I think that some women would have gotten really upset about the weather/the shoes/etc instead of just enjoying their special day. I'm wishing her and her husband all the best.

i didn't have a clue until i read Lainey's intro today that she's going to make first official RC appearance after her wedding. i didn't have a clue that's she's even going to the Gala, tbh. can't wait!
