It's strange, in some pictures she looks so youthful and childlike but in some she looks middle aged. At the recent event (with the shocking hair) she looks a lot older than I would guess she is

I do think that in real life,sometimes she does look a lot older than she actually is.On the picture that lonn3k3 posted she looks like a 19 year old max.And on those Hollywood Awards she looks 30.That's just something about her.I love her though,but she should have keept the long hair.

I was mainly replying in comment to NakedIfIWantTo's response about how she looked different in An Education.

I personally thinks she looks gorgeous with short hair - I suppose it just depends on how she has it styled, what she's wearing and how her make up is done.

I think being able to pull off a wide range of ages will only serve as an advantage for her careerwise. I don't think she looks old, per se, but I do think she could do with a slight style over-haul. There are simple things (diff. make-up, hair, posture, etc.) she could do to look fresher without compromising her personal style.
