Carla Bruni-Sarkozy: My husband is not upset by my nude modelling
Looking aristocratic and refined in riding gear, Carla Bruni Sarkozy's appearance on Vanity Fair's front cover is everything expected of France's first lady.
The demure pose is a far cry from the last time the former model's image was plastered around the British press.

Nude: The photo which caused controversy for France's first lady when it was auctioned at Christie's in New York
When a nude portrait of the stunning Italian was auctioned in May, editors had a field day reproducing the raunchy image.
The sale of the Michel Comte photograph caused some embarrassment when it coincided with a State visit to Britain with husband french President Nicolas Sarkozy.
Despite this, the 40-year-old told Vanity Fair the French President was not upset by the amount of nude photographs she posed for in her modelling days.
The full interview will appear in the September edition of the magazine in which Carla graces the front page photographed by Annie Leibovitz.
The mother-of-one, who has a seven-year-old son from a previous relationship, is now pursuing a career as a pop star.
Her album Comme si de rien n'etait or As if nothing had happened, appeared in record stores this month.
Vanity Fair will be for sale on Friday this week.
