^ I agree with Harumi she is more in love with the idea of being a first lady than she is with loving him. They are using one another to feed their own egos, but when he gets voted out next term, they'll quickly divorce just watch.

Is there a petit Sarkozy on the way for Carla Bruni?

24th August 2008French president Nicolas Sarkozy tenderly pats his stunning wife Carla Bruni’s stomach – fuelling speculation that the model-turned-singer is pregnant.
The couple were on holiday at the family villa in Cap Negre on the French Riviera.
She was in a purple bikini, while her 52-year-old husband wore rather less flattering lurid yellow trunks.

Last month Miss Bruni admitted that she was desperate for a child but worried time might be against her.
Asked whether she was pregnant, the 40-year-old replied: ‘No, unfortunately not.
'I wonder if my stomach’s not bigger – because everyone is asking me the same question.
'I’m not pregnant and I regret it because I love it when I am.’
She has a seven-year-old son from a previous relationship.
The Elysee Palace refused to comment last night.

^^That´s a bummer. I like that CD a lot, it´s quite close to her first one. I didn´t like the previous one that much.

I thought that after she married Sarkozy we would be having pictures of her every day. I guess I was mistaken

I have yet to listen to her albums. Been meaning to have a listen for some time now, but something always seems to pop up.

actually there are two versions of this album... one illegally spread on internet, which I downaloaded and another one, which i bought... song versions vary quite much... i need to say i bit prefer interner version;-))) but anyway album is wonderful and i totally love every single song from it... though not sure about Bob Dylan's cover version...

She is all around in the media because of the Pope´s visit to France. She is super lovely as always and rocking the (difficult) look of tailleur and flat shoes.

Carla Bruni: How I keep Sarkozy up in the middle of the night

With matters of state weighing heavily upon their shoulders, the world's leaders need to make the most of the few hours sleep they manage to snatch each night.
Unfortunately for French leader Nicolas Sarkozy, he's married to Carla Bruni.
Appearing on Jools Holland's show last night, the former supermodel turned singer-songwriter admitted she often woke her husband in the middle of the night by playing her songs.

Bruni said her husband was 'very kind' about her songs and her music did not 'drive him mad'.
She said: 'I play it at home and I disturb him with it in the middle of the night. It's just a very different world for him.
'I have my husband's world. It's like I just try to be with him and be cool about it and not change everything I know and my way of living. It's not so hard.'

'It's just like playing in a film. I don't really mix them up - I separate them. I play my music and then I go with my husband when he needs me.'
When asked whether she had ever composed a song for him she replied: 'Well, I write songs about my life.'
Carla ditched the first lady stuffiness to join heavy metal rockers Metallica in the studio today.

Along with Jools she chatted to the rockers, posing for photos around his grand piano.
She then took to the stage with her guitar to perform for the studio audience.
In April Carla was a style sensation in her Dior wardrobe when she came on a state visit to Britain.
She played the perfect first lady as she met the Queen and Prince Philip, and chatted to Gordon and Sarah Brown.
