LOVE her polka dot dress, she looks lovely even without make-up and sleep. Can anyone id it?

In no way she does look as rough as a badger's **** here. She looks better than most people when without makeup!

Is she really without makeup ?
Stars are very talented in the art of looking natural with very little makeup ... ;)
But anyway : she's gorgeous.

New pictures.

i'm completely in love with the belt she wore in caen (june 6). the whole outfit was great but god i need a belt like that one.

Qatar's First Lady Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al-Misned is amazing too, I've never seen her before...

Bowled over! So was it the sight of stunning Carla Bruni make this Republican guard go weak at the knees?
23rd June 2009

The Republican Guard are charged with protecting the most important national figures and foreign dignatories.
But one horseman's usual authority deserted him on ceremonial duty at the Elysee Palace yesterday.
The soldier had to be helped to his feet after fainting while on duty during a gala dinner hosted by French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife, Carla Bruni.
It was left for onlookers to wonder if the sight of the glamorous First Lady had made the guard go weak at the knees.

And who could blame him?
The former supermodel, a Grecian goddess in a strapless yale blue dress, cut a stunning figure as she greeted Sheik Hamad Bin Jassem Al Thani of Qatar and his wife Mozah bint Nasser Al-Missned for a dinner in their honour.
An elegant Carla kept her look simple but added a touch of sparkle with a dazzling diamond necklace.

Carla, whose floor-length gown covered her shoes was probably wearing her trademark flats to avoid towering over her much shorter husband.
The First Lady was all smiles as she made small talk with the Qatari prince's wife at the Elysee Palace, who was by no means overshadowed as she very much held her own in a fuchsia button-down dress and diamond accessories.
And if the Emirati princess, who matched her outfit with a turban to cover her hair, was at all irked by Sarkozy's comments demanding for the burkha to be banned, she failed to show it.

Stiff competition: Carla makes small talk with the Qatari Princess, Mozah bint Nasser Al-Missned, who wore a turban to cover her hair
Earlier in the day, Sarkozy risked the wrath of Muslims declaring that the full-body religious gown is a sign of the 'debasement' of women.
'In our country, we cannot accept that women be prisoners behind a screen, cut off from all social life, deprived of all identity,' he said to extended applause in Versailles, at a joint session of France's two houses of parliament.
'The burkha is not a religious sign, it's a sign of subservience, a sign of debasement. It will not be welcome on the territory of the French Republic.'

All smiles: There was little sign the Qatari Prince, Sheik Hamad Bin Jassem Al Than, was offended by Sarkozy's earlier comments demanding the burkha to banned in France
The president was supporting a weekend call by dozens of French politicians for a parliamentary commission to study whether the burkha, which is growing in popularity in France, should be banned.
He laid out his support for a ban even before the panel has been approved - braving critics who fear the issue could stigmatise Muslims in France.
Many women in the Gulf state wear Islamic head coverings in public - whether while shopping or driving cars.

Ladies night: The women are decidedly more affectionate
France enacted a law in 2004 banning the Islamic headscarf and other conspicuous religious symbols from public schools, sparking fierce debate at home and abroad. France has Western Europe's largest Muslim population, an estimated 5million.
Last year, the country's highest court refused to grant French citizenship to a Moroccan woman who wears a burkha, on the grounds that her Muslim practices were incompatible with French gender equality and secularism laws.
Sarkozy's comments put him at odds with President Barack Obama who, in a speech in Cairo this month, said that the U.S. prized freedom of religion and declared: 'We are not going to tell people what to wear.'
