Thanks, Faust, I look forward to that

Hey Morten,

Here is the reply from A. BTW, Carol apparently is not without a sense of humour. Since he did not produce a collection this season, but did A a favor buy doing these boots exclusively for them he colled this capsule collection "Male F/W on demand"

"The CCP boots do not come in half sizes so if you are a US 11 then a
CCP 10 is the size that you want. Yes they are all slightly different
in size( hand made shoes are one of a kind and no two are exactly
alike). The sizing and the boot depends on one's foot so you should try
them on in person in order to pick the one that best fits your foot.

From my experience with the CCP boots the sizes are slightly different
and there isn't a huge difference between one size CCP 10 to another,
once again depending on one's foot. However I do recommend that you
try on a couple of them in your size and get the one that best fits
your foot. As long as the length of the boot is right, the width will
give a bit so one should buy them a bit snug and with wear the boot
will mold to your foot.

As for getting 'MALE F/W ON DEMAND' boots here or at L'eclareur, its
not available any where else since we at A. demanded that Carol do this
for us because he wasn't creating a Fall/Winter Collection and we do so
incredibly well with his boots. Carol was kind enough to do this for us
and we laughed at what he called the collection 'MALE F/W ON DEMAND'. I
don't think they are available at the shop in Paris as Carol made the
two styles just for us at A. L'eclareur may have the double zip boot
and the wrap around from previous seasons but the colors may be
different. The double zip boot we have this season is a green/black and
the wrap around boot is a blue/black."

^ lol "male f/w on demand"! that's cool, seems that A is even more prioritized than L'eclareur. thanks for the info faust :flower:.

btw, i got mine in 7 and i wear 8us. it's best to try them out for your own though, or if that isn't possible then maybe you should try to get a size down, as advised.

Thanks a lot for your help, Faust.

I know US11 is a EU10. I am still a little uncertain if the boots are a "big" 10 og a "small" 10. Judging form the discussions in here it sounds like they may be big. Any opinions on that?

Faust, how do you interpret blue/black - does that mean they have one model of the wrap around boots in a bluish black, or two models - one in blue and one in black?

Thanks,
Morten

^ they're certainly a "big" 10, even size 7 could easily fit a 9us.

You are welcome Morten and Battles.

Morten, two models, in blue and in black.

I got the blue wrap around boots with hook-closure in 9, i usually wear 44 and 10 1/2 us and the boots fit me pretty well, nice and confortable (i must admit that my premiatas are more confortables but the poell boots are my favorites).

Hope this info help you

Jorge

Thanks all for the help.

As I usually wear 44½ and like the boots fairly big, I am pretty sure that 10 is my size. And black is the color I want. So now my only problem is, that I am running out of reasons that can stop me from spending $1400 on a pair of boots, that may not be very comfortable.

I have a pair of shoes that aren't really comfortable, but they look great, so I wear them from time to time because I love the look!

women wear high heels that are sometimes uncomfortable, but they look sexy!

my thought is.. if you love a pair of shoes, as long as it's not too uncomfortable, then go for it!

do they allow returns?

do they allow returns?[/QUOTE]

I talked to them last season - they didn´t allow returns back then.

Does anyone have the phonenumber for Library in London?

Thanks,

i know that i am not suppose to do this but i am going to sell my recent purchase of ccp wrap around boots posted in the shopaholics thread yesterday, which i bought from Atelier and i would like to let tfs members know first. like all shopaholics i have maxed out my credit card and need to pay for school tuition. my last check for tuition bounced. really stupid and irresponsible. the boots are from the fall 05/06 in a size 8 (perfect for anyone who wears a US 9). i wear a US 9 and the boots fit me very well. i bought a spongy insole for the boots also. my recent financial stupidity has forced me to sell these amazing boots. the boots are in a blue black, but more black. i received them yesterday and i have only worn them once to school for 3 hours. i will sell them for $1100. i really need the money asap. i am very sorry for posting this message. for those who are interested please pm or email me. thank you.
