enak is the store you're talking about called Belinda Men's? How much were those Kangaroo leather shoes going for?

Honey~Blade: Yep. Cameron said they were about $1500, but the owner would want to keep them for the store. If you want them try and talk him out of it ;)

thanks Buckwheat for the images
I remember trying on the heavy cotton version of the jacket in post #633.
it was smoky greyish green. it seemed to me the acme of CCP aesthetic/decadence, going with the mood of fin de siele at that time.
it looked quiet, but so strong at once that you could easily be defeated unless you had equal strength about yourself. unfortunately I was not the right person for it though. sort of a defiant piece of clothing, but I like when CCP doesn't curry favor with the market.
and it's definitely one of CCP's best efforts, like his twist pants etc.

"the cut/fit" of "elegant armor" has been modified and evolved. so it's not the same.
I think there is also usually something without obvious concaved shoulders these days. I sometimes come across his simpler jacket which still has his own peculiar atomosphere.

i wonder what you would think about a white jkt i have like this from ann demeulemeester?...
many people hated it but i fell in love with it right away...
i only take it out for special occassions...
the last time i wore it was for a photo exhibit/auction to benefit 9/11...
*i wore it with a blk button up shirt and tank top under, my blk leather pants and my yohji wresting shoes with an american flag pinned to the lapel...

i needed to feel strong after the attacks...
i felt strong...:muscles:...

;)

Enak: those kangaroo leathers might have a further reduction on it atm..when did u check? i missed out on my fav ann dem sneaker ever..damn.. but apparently they are getting more CCP in and also will be stocking cloak soon

oh yeaahhh??!! well show us how strong you are then!! :brows:

I've seen it....it's amazing!!!

So I got the pants from Yoox today....they are really fantastic....the details are amazing.....I'm in love with the serge stitching that is used.

The only problem is they are about 5 inches too long and I don't want to lose the serge detail on the hem....I thought about cutting them mid leg and taking it out there but then they might not lay right.....and I don't think a "jean" hem would work.....

suggestions? Or am I going to have to suck it up and do a regular hem?

chris - I have the same problem with my jeans too. I guess I am just going to get a regular hem....unless you send them back to CCP and have them do it for you...wouldn't that be great?!

I'm almost thinking of just cutting them off and letting them fray at the hem....:innocent:

Actually you can.:flower:

You just have to talk to one of the retailers to ask them if they could send it back to Carol to redo it... I know L'ecleure does that:blush:.. but I don;t know if Atelier or Maxfield provides good enough customer service to do it:rolleyes:

that's interesting to know ionn26. But I bought mine on the Yoox website....I don't think they will do that... Thanks for the info.

Actually... it doesn't matter if you did buy CCP from yoox or other retailers.. if you work with a retailer that you have spurlge enough money with them.. even if the CCP you didn't get it from them.. they would be more then happy to do it...

Really? I checked and enquired about the price around mid january I think. I still don't think I'll be able to afford it so I hope it goes to a worthy home.

Good news that they will be getting more CCP and Cloak! Can't wait to see them:woot: and the prices

you look very cool in a white jacket, I liked your Lang jacket very much.
I'm sure the Ann Demeulemeester jacket becomes you very well.
if you felt strong in it, it must look that much greater for that.

thank you runner and thank you chris......

i will see if i have an ocassion to wear it and post it then...:flower:

According to the staff at Belinda Menswear, CCP will not be in till end of June. They are also bringing in some basic Dior Homme stuff.
