Gulp! Can't help you I'm afraid. Won't the store do a refund for you?
I doubt they'd take back used shoes (no matter HOW used CCP's boots already look!), especially since there isn't anything inherently wrong with them - merely a change of heart. Good luck with the resale, vio...

If you could list these on yahoo japan, you might get close to the price you want for them.

i know that i am not suppose to do this but i am going to sell my recent purchase of ccp wrap around boots posted in the shopaholics thread yesterday, which i bought from Atelier and i would like to let tfs members know first. like all shopaholics i have maxed out my credit card and need to pay for school tuition. my last check for tuition bounced. really stupid and irresponsible. the boots are from the fall 05/06 in a size 8 (perfect for anyone who wears a US 9). i wear a US 9 and the boots fit me very well. i bought a spongy insole for the boots also. my recent financial stupidity has forced me to sell these amazing boots. the boots are in a blue black, but more black. i received them yesterday and i have only worn them once to school for 3 hours. i will sell them for $1100. i really need the money asap. i am very sorry for posting this message. for those who are interested please pm or email me. thank you.

Well, just to say.

In general CCP has never sold boots below the $1200-1300 mark.
 If this is in fact true you must have some serious mark-ups in the States. I just saw a pair of CCP boots today on sale for €156.

They were women’s though… Italian size 36 if anyone’s interested?

Just received these CCP jeans in the mail (my first CCP piece). They are truely amazing. They are from the Spring 05.

some images I've found in my old magazines. CCP suit on the left. The leather jacket on the right is Ann Dem. Image from 1997.

Scanned from Men's-non (Dec. 1997)

CCP denim jacket and pants. Image from 1998.

Those jeans look cool, Buckwheat. I hope they will look cool on me too :p

thanks baizilla. They are indeed very cool to me. Very interesting details and attentions had put on them.

Loving those jeans. The stitchwork rocks and so does that wonderful asymmetry.

I don't really like his suits... The shoulders are too wide and flat with that upwards peak at the shoulder which has the arms sewn on in a strange way.

The photos of pieces that Raijin posted a long time ago from the lookbook were absolutely stunning.

Yes - those suits look a bit dodgy. The jeans are nice though Buckwheat.

Thanks Chinor1z and Johnny.

I want to see his suit/jacket in person. Maybe the styling made the suit not fitting right in the photos? would be interesting to try one on.

I wonder if the cut/fit is different from the late 90s to those now. raijin or runner?

I think it is now a little softer. I tried on a jacket last year. It still does have the peaked shoulders, but the sholder shape seemed less "horizontal" than appears in the photos. It was still too structured for me though.

Thanks for the input Johnny. I wish I have the chance to try one on. I think I like his long coat (3/4 coat) better than blazer. I think the peaked shoulders construction look better on the coat porportion wise.

I've just read through this entire thread, and I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY want some of this!

Theres only one store here that stocks CCP and not much stock at all, but I saw a pair of kangaroo leather deconstructed shoes that were amazing! Understandably, the price was also spectacularly high !

Beautiful jeans Buckwheat. Loving the unique detailing.

Enak how much were we talking about? Much difference from what you'd comparably find in the U.S or Japan?

thanks Buckwheat for the images
I remember trying on the heavy cotton version of the jacket in post #633.
it was smoky greyish green. it seemed to me the acme of CCP aesthetic/decadence, going with the mood of fin de siele at that time.
it looked quiet, but so strong at once that you could easily be defeated unless you had equal strength about yourself. unfortunately I was not the right person for it though. sort of a defiant piece of clothing, but I like when CCP doesn't curry favor with the market.
and it's definitely one of CCP's best efforts, like his twist pants etc.

"the cut/fit" of "elegant armor" has been modified and evolved. so it's not the same.
I think there is also usually something without obvious concaved shoulders these days. I sometimes come across his simpler jacket which still has his own peculiar atomosphere.

Avantster: Well those brogues were $3000 retail, which would probably be a 30% markup in europe. I know the prices of clothing in australia are rediculous eg a pair of ann dem pants which are $895 here would retail in europe for around $600, at the very most $700. I found that european brands in Japan are very expensive also.

Thanks for the input runner. Very interesting point on how it can overpower the wearer. Clothes like that are so powerful.
