Oh and yesterday i went to tower record in SO and i saw this guy who looks familiar but i didnt' know who he was. Then later last night while on TFS i found out the he's jessica simpson's hairstylist? he probably though i was weird cause i kept looking at him trying to recall where iv seen him.

Ken cuts my hair, when he is in Michigan. He's super nice, and very skinny.

How were they? I've never had the pleasure of meeting them, it's a dream of mine...

I met them a long, long time ago in Chicago. I was working in a pool bar and the Ritz Carlton concierge called to ask how late we stayed open (Monday night). The next thing we knew the Clinton campaign entourage came walking in with U2 right behind them (sans Bono). They are all very short, but Larry Mullin Jr. is still very hot. Adam Clayton looks kind of weird, but so what?

I just about died, the bartender was laughing at me. I waited on them for a few hours, all very nice and courteous--not super commonplace at a pool bar. We stayed open late for them, then they invited me to go back to their suite for a party. I did and it was just a bunch of people sitting around, listening to music, drinking and talking politics--I spoke with the Edge for quite awhile about politics and got home around 6am.

It was fantastic.

He chats about her all the time, but NEVER anything bad, never good dirt. Unfortunately.

He talks about how a lot of the stars that he does.... like the last time I was in he was telling me how he almost burned down Celine Dion's dressing room with a flat iron. That kind of stuff.

I met a very unpleasant Katie Holmes last summer in Chicago.

so there's the attraction between her and Tom "I have a right to judge everyone's life but my own and if you don't believe in my weird cult i will be a rude arrogant ba****d towards you" Cruise.

^ I met Tom Cruise at a "Minority Report" premiere. I don't know what's going on with that whole Scientology thing, and I definitely don't like the Katie Holmes PDA, but he was SOOO nice at the premiere. Really friendly, with a easy, wide smile. Super generous with the autograph giving and the picture taking - and he seems to really appreciate his fans. He was such a sweetie.

I now think he is a bit insane, but he's definitely not purposefully mean. He just...has stronger opinions about Scientology, or something. Anyway, yeah, I thought he was really cool.

I don't think this counts as an "encounter" but it's kinda weird:

Yesterday I was in Barnes & Nobles reading a magazine (Vogue with Sarah Jessica Parker on the cover) when this guy comes up to me and says "Are you a Lindsey Lohan fan?" I told him "Not really" (which is the truth) and I looked at my magazine to make sure she wasn't on the cover (in which case his question would have made some sense...). Then the guy says "Well, I know her." He sounded like he was bragging, so I said "Really?" and he points to his T-Shirt. I looked at it and saw it had a big photo of him with Lindsey Lohan on it! At this point I started thinking he's really weird, so I just told him "nice shirt," but he kept on talking , saying how he's an FCC insturctor and how he gave her her FCC liscence...He was just going on and on and I could not figure out why he was telling me this. Finally he just went away, but it's kinda creepy to see a 60 year-old guy (or thereabouts) so obsessed with Lindsey Lohan that he walks around wearing her picture on his T-Shirt and talking to complete strangers about his encounter with her...

So about 4 hours ago I received a phone from my dad, who is in Venice, Italy. He proceeds to inform me he is sitting across from Valentino's table!!! (How he even know who Valentino is and what he looks like beats me!) He said he was going to try an get a picture... The Venice Film Festival is going on, so I'm sure there'll be plenty more sightings!

hmm...I would go to Robertson...and walk by the Ivy, celebs go there often, or Beverly Hills...mainly Barneys. If you go to Fred Segal in Santa Monica or Melrose...you might see some there. I've seen Dereck from Sum41 (avrils bf or fiance i donno) but he was walking along melrose with a friend. Umm, those are the only places i can think of right now...
