Absolutely!! I saw a gorgeous one with the little pink bus on it for i think $475 AU! That's just crazy! For a necklace i can justify, but a phone charm that costs more than an actual phone?! :innocent:

Spring '06 Jewelry

I just saw the most beautiful necklace from the Spring '06 line....it's from the filigree collection (can't find pics anywhere yet). Long chain that can be doubled, intermittent pearls, and logo'd filigree balls...absolutely GORGEOUS!! Was expecting at $500-600 price tag, maybe $700...no, it was $1300!! I want it bad, but its plastic and non-precious metal.....argh!!!! Anyone know of an eBay seller who sells items like this below retail post-season? I'll shoot myself if I actually talk myself into buying this at full price!

not sure if there's a particular seller on ebay, but sometimes you'll see a product after the season for a lot better price...maybe it would go on sale also, if it's not part of the permanent collection.

yupyup! I would love to buy a necklace like that one day but I know I wouldn't want to spend that much for the materials used! Arhhh, I cannot wait anymore I wanna see them all but the boutique won't have there trunk show till next week, and my NM won't have it till next month!!

Hikarupanda - Sorry you have to wait so long, but at least you have 2 places to go! My NM didn't show everything. Please check out this new filigree collection and tell me what you think. They didn't have the matching charm bracelet for viewing, but they're getting 3 in and only 1 $1300 necklace. I might consider the bracelet because at least it's under 4 figures, but I really LOVE the necklace!

I don't know why Chanel can't at least use cultured pearls...they're not THAT expensive...you can get an entire necklace for $200 at Macy's! Sure, not the best, but better than plastic...

Thanks pigleto...will keep my eyes open on eBay...

Well, here are some pics of my belt and CC earrings from the 2004 Cruise Collection. This was my favorite collection! I loved all the colors, and the pics I'm about to post are pics from the article: Fashionably Kate from In Style Magazine December 2003 ( I have a particular affinity towards this article because my comment made it into the feedback section of the March 2004 issue)

Yes, I tried really hard tp resist the Winter Eiffel Tower Charm with the Snow Flakes but the Cruise 06 is even tougher!!! I love the minibus and the little gold box with the flower, the double CC and the minibus!!! :woot:

The belt retailed for over a thousand dollars. I think retail for this belt was around $1200-$1500. The earrings I think retailed for $350.

deos anyone have a picture of thic chanel PEARL nekclace its really long so you can layer it and it has charms in between it like the CLOVERLEAVES, the 5, the interlocking CC. and its crystalized the charms. its seen on MARY KATE OLSEN before. it was an old acceossry tho. i need a picture anwone has it? =D
