I don't think that Kristen's acting was that great, it was too OTT and the situation was not helped by the dark eye shadow in the early scenes, BUT she is a decent actress and more than met the brief given that she is not a professional and this is a short film. Still she has great camera presence and I could see her doing a bang up job if she worked with a real director, dare I say that the same applies to Baptiste and Freja but to a lesser degree.
I think that this is a better film but not because the story is better but because it is pretty people in a pretty setting in pretty clothes, the other film fell short in setting and was hit or miss with the clothes, even though that was a better collection. Karl should stick to the 1930s inspired jet set / drawing room rubric.
