I like the styling, that's it. This feels very... cheap and lackluster for a brand like Chanel. The last time Sofia Coppola was involved in a Chanel campaign, she gave us Steven Meisel and it was fabulous. What went wrong here? This almost feels like a knockoff of the Celine Spring 2025 campaign imagery by Hedi Slimane.
I like the simplicity and modernity of the photographs. Abrams looks pretty and is well styled. The outcome is appealing to me. I particularly like the last photograph of Abrams in all white and black.
Really?
I think the Carine era was the worst era. The campaigns under Alex White, Emmanuelle Alt and even the ones before from the late 90’s/early 00’s were fabulous compared to the crap Karl and Carine did.
SS2012 and SS2013 + FW2011 were good but that’s it.
You should post your take in the controversial opinions thread lol
