Chanel S/S 2009 : Heidi Mount & Jerry Hall by Karl Lagerfeld

Two more...my scans from VOGUE and ELLE :flower:
I really only like the one where she is lying on the floor....not a big fan of this campaign.

she looks kinda depressed in the left shot
the right shot is beautiful indeed

thanks for posting!

Love the two new images. Thanks for posting.

 the new shots, much better than the previous.
thanks for posting

The lying shot is beautiful. It captured something from her and the piece. Thx for the new pics ;)

The lying down shot is really beautiful...the contrast between the extremely delicate dress and the almost black wood floor is gorgeous.

The campaign is pretty dull. I generally like Heidi, and I think for the most part she pretty good here, I just don't quite understand what Karl was thinking with this one? He's been able to do this deserted, cold, melancholy house campaign before...and successfully. I didn't love FW 08, but campaigns like FW 01 with Angela Lindvall were gorgeous. So, I can't quite put my finger on what is wrong with this campaign....

It seems to me that she's waiting for someone (Godot?), with looking through the window, and it seems that she's looking at the door from the stairs...maybe Brad will show up soon.
I like the melancholy of it...the only problem is that this is too FW.

I really like this campaign, I think Heidi is perfect for it. I can't imagine other model for it...

I love this campaign:heart:Those two new shots are beautiful, especially the first one, love her face expression:heart:

I like the body language in the second shot. There is such a serenity there that it almost feels as if she were weightless, suspended in thin air. Unfortunately her face (more her eyebrows but i don't think they photoshopped her right...she looks pretty butterface rather than "model" to me) ruins it for me. So as long as it's covered and/or I focus below her neck...not bad even good!

As I said I don't like it at all. To me everything in this campaign seems like if it were fake, artificial, false...
I don't like the atmosphere, the whole hause, the model, her poses, her eyebrows, the whole shots...

Anyway that last photo is pretty nice, but it lacks soul.

The shot of Heidi lying down on the floor is gorgeous

I like the campaign so far because I find it very graphic in a pleasant way, thanks to the (lack of?) interior design and use of neutral colours and the good use of typography.
I also kinda like the nostalgic or timeless mood of the pictures I admit there's something a little bit depressing about it (and maybe scary too ...) but it's okay for me!
