Ok what colours of the livestrong bands are authentic?? ive seent hem in red Ive also seen pink breast cancer ones and blue overian cancer ones.
I have a yellow one and an radio one anti bullying one and a make poverty history one. These are real but what about the rest ??

which are real ???

pls help

At my school, the only ones i've ever seen are the yellow livestrong and the white nike ones. I know there are new blue ones that say "no compromise" on them from andy roddick's charity as well.

to be honest I think they are all real, the pink breast cancer one definately is, and i'm sure the ovarian cancer is also, its just they all jumped onto the great market lance armstrong managed to target with his 'livestrong' campaign, and it's obviously a very effective and evidently 'cool' way of getting the message across...and it's making alot of money for worthwhile causes....good luck to them :flower:

I've seen pink and blue along with the yellow livestongs. I've also seen a pink Target breast cancer bracelet, and I hear there is a blue AIDS bracelet, I dunno who it is sponsored by though.

I have got a pink breast cancer one, people have started selling them on ebay for profits and I think its a bit immoral...

I don't like to "wear my heart on my sleeve," if you will. I donate to several charities, but I always ask them to keep their paraphernalia (except for the World Wildlife Fund calendar, because it RULES). I figure it saves them some money, so with hope my donation, and others, will stretch further.

i am glad that these bands have become in a way 'cool' because it raises awareness.i love what they stand for but i hate the way people are exploiting these good causes. when most wristbands can be bought for a £1 and sold on ebay for £5 this is a large profit which could benefit less fortunate people.

I have seen people selling them for £20 and I'm not been a drama queen but it makes me feel sick to see people making money out of things like tsunami and breast cancer etc.

My man n i have a yellow livestrong one and i have just ordered us a red world aid relief one. i think they are cool because you can support charitable organisations and have a cool new accesssory. xxx

i dont think its being like a 'drama queen' caring about these causes. its wrong exploiting them. i make sure i buy them from the charity and not ebay its the only way to stop this and incourage people to do the same rather than buy from these people selling them on ebay.

i wish ebay would regulate these things as to not exploite good causes such as charities.

actually ... as far as i know all of the bands beside the livestrong are sold for a profit. i have been carrying the livestrong bands in my store since may of last year. i purchase them for a dollar and sell them for a dollar ... people started coming in and asking if i carried any of the other bands, so i looked into it, and every other band i found seemed to be sold for a profit ... with the livestrong bands 100% of the profits went to charity ... every other band i find has a smaller percentage of the profits going to charity ... in most cases the amount of money that actually makes it to the the charity you think are supporting is a joke... and there are people along the way making a profit off of the supposed charity ... i refused to carry any of the other bands in my store because i cant support making a profit off of what should be a charity ... but lots of stores do.

Thats good, but I was primarily talking about the problem on ebay. They sell all the bands for a profit.

oh ... i know ... i was just mentioning my experience with the bands from the perspective of a shop owner ... the bands being sold on ebay for a profit is a disgrace ... but what the wholesalers are doing is the same thing ... only a lot sneakier ... i mean ... honestly ... how much do you think it costs for them to produce these bands ... and the average amount of money i found that went to charity from each band sold was like 10 cents ... and that might even be a little bit high ... i just think its disgusting for these companies to disguise a profit as a charity.
