Charlene Wittstock, Princess of Monaco

her dress was lovely. Modest and elegant. She did look a tad miserable though. I looked like the cheshire cat on my wedding day with all the smiling!

some more wedding pics, she looked good but bored.

I am in love with her dress. Seriously seeing it side to side with Kate Middleton I must say that this one is better for me. It's timeless, classic, yet it has a certain twist. The design may be "banal" but the details of the dress and especially where they are aren't. I love the veil, I love the train and I love love love her headpiece. It was a very interesting twist. I think you can see that she has a lots of class and good taste. By listening to her interviews I think she had a really hand on on it all and she managed beautifully. The setting was also very beautiful. It was so glamorous. Probably one of my favorite Royal Wedding ever. And I don't know who said that the dress looked like CP Victoria but if you look at both in HQ you'll see that they are very different. Oh and thanks to Armani for "softening" her shoulders a little bit. Btw, Campbell killed it !!

I have the Wedding special and the dress looks even better in print!!!!!!!!! It's a master peace :buzz: Soething too beautiful for a wedding so sad :(

Didn't like her wedding dress at all but i loved loved loved her flower clips in her hair. and her after party dress was even uglier. and didn't see much emotion at the ceremony either weird couple.

^that's the problem with Armani.....he is very repetitive, I would even say that most of the times his creations are boring...and her dress was not different!

Well, Armani did do a good job with making her shoulders look less broad in both the wedding dress and the after party dress. I thought that she would opt for sleeveless dresses and wondered if the dresses would not be overshadowed by her wide shoulders. Both dresses seemed to minimize the appearance of her:innocent: broad shoulders. The dresses were simple and appropriate IMO

Actually, it should read "Charlene, the princess of monaco".

Incorrect.

Her correct title is: Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco.

It is important to distinguish the patronymic name that everyone has upon their birth from the title acquired pursuant to marrying the Reigning Prince. Therefore, Miss Wittstock will officially become “H.S.H. Princess Charlene”.This will be her title. She may simply use “Charlene of Monaco”, in particular for her signature.

You can read more about her correct title at http://www.mariageprinciermonaco2011.mc/en/argumentaire/the_future_princess/3.html

i read somewhere that it took more than 200 hours to make her wedding gown...

I thought the shoulders and skirt of the dress did a great job at minimizing her broad shoulders.
My only critic of her at the wedding is how botoxed she was, you can see in those Vogue photos too. It looks like it hurt to smile.

^
yeah - I think her botox is quite decent when she's not smiling or doing a major emotion - her forehead doesn't look shiny and her face has some shape to it, but I noticed when she was 'crying' because it looked like she was having an aneurysm or something.
