Chloé S/S 11 Paris

To be brutally honest, I'm disappointed. I really loved the last Resort collection and the Fall/Winter collection.
This is just horribly derivative.

love the videos thanks

i like some of this but some is pretty boring. i really like hannah's stuff normally though..

In this Paris fashion week that is almost over, after conceptual unwearability, followed by crap, followed by ugliness, and paired with boredom, it's with the greatest pleasure that I finally see a realistic, elegant, sophisticated collection. All these looks, while simple, look so effortlessly put together, so sleek and crisp and flattering, so nonchalantly aristocratic.

Why did I have to wait for this long?

I love this collection. I would wear every single look, save the last dress.

I agree with everyone! The clothes are beautiful, of course, but I was adoring Chloé aesthetic before... :(

I miss the quirky girly-ness of Chloe. The brand used to have so much energy and charisma in it. To be honest there's barely anything feminine about these clothes, they're extremely masculine. Everything is far too stiff and too plain.
When a brand has so much creative heritage, collections like these, even though it's not bad, just strike people as pathetic really.

Godd, can u people just stop missing this and that!! hello this whole thing is called "FASHION"! Yah!? not try to be the same old same old! Chloe has changed, Pualo is not gonna come back, and I think Hannah is great ,she knows what she's doing and she understand the real needs of the "NOW!" Chloe girls! no longer the girl with the Betty bags!
I think this collection is beautiful and

I agree with all! Nice change of pace for Chloe! Finally not another 70's, Charlies Angel style collection. All the pieces actually looked very nice.

I actualy kinda like this. Especially Kinga's collared blouse and sheer skirt look. Minimal yet there's something I kinda like about it.

This was very chic and very Parisian in a way, but it was also very mundane and easily forgettable. I think thats her failure as a designer; her collections all blend into one and truly, I have trouble remembering them. On the other hand, I can remember Paulo's collections for Chloe quite clearly; and I can recall Phoebes collections quite clearly too.

Chloe used to excite me, with its unique take on femininity. These days its a constant questioning of whether Hannah will disappoint or not. I don't see how she is being kept on; is Chloe making so much profit that they can't afford to let her go?

^I agree
having seen the whole collection in motion I do think it's nicer than what I originally thought but it's still not 'there'.. it's not that it's bad, it's just not "chloé-good"

^^^^ testino was fired because the company profits have fallen. As I said earlier the clothes are not bad per se , but changing the ethos of a well established house isnt a good idea, Chloe always had that dirty pretty aesthetic even in the Lagerfeld era . Under Phoebe the brand was minting money of the shoes , paddington bags , dresses and esp pants , it doesnt have any cash cow products anymore . Another thing which isnt Hannahs fault other brands have become the places to shop like Pucci ,Alexander Wang , which offer an "it girl" factor and are actually cheaper in price than chloes' banal dresses.

I see more Calvin than Celine in this collection. What I see most with all this minimalism is that the 90s are coming back and I'm not sure if I'm excited about it anymore.

I want to root for Hannah as she worked for the label for years and it's her time to shine but she needs to have a rethink about where she wants the label to go otherwise she will be out the door.

I'll take Calvin look alike over Paulo's designs. He tried to turn the label into Marni and then after he quit he finally gave a collection that was CHLOE. Bizarre way to end.

Couldn't agree more. It's clean, tailored, well-made -- but oh so boring. If someone walked past me on the street wearing that, I'd glance at her, think, "Oh, that's nice. Probably expensive," and instantly forget I'd ever seen her. There's just no uniqueness.

I'm sorry but who is Testino? I thought Ralph Toledano was the CEO who was fired / left because of poor financial performance in his sector?

Also, isn't their cash cow, the perfume these days? What perfume existed under Phoebe and Paulo? I don't remember a 'star fragrance' like the current two.
