Chloe Resort 2006

it seems its only me that thinks the lengths and the shoes are terribly off

I could see where youre coming from with the lenghts, but I think the shoes are nice. They really remind me of these sandals Balenciaga presented for Spring 2003?

I think the outfits are cute, but to be honest, I am not crazy about the silhouette. It would do nothing for a petite person like myself. I don't really likme the shoes either. Overall I am a bit disappointed because I am a huge Chloe fan. :(

It's wierd, two completely opposite brands with no connection between each other, other than showing in Paris, have somehow switched places. Chloe is feeling very Balenciaga and Balenciaga has some Chloe in it too...Very unusual.

What a cool way to say it Diorling! Very nice observation. I think Chloe or Phoebe rather, is really wanting to try new things. Ghesquiere however, is getting less and less experimental. I mean, look at his resort.

The first two looks can pass, but the rest are off. It is a less-inspired Chloe pre-collection indeed (the last outfit actually looks like a towel wraped around her body :ninja: .)

For some bizarre reason, it's reminding me of Luella (of all things) from last spring or the spring before that, can't remember...

The only think I detest - shoes... They look horrible
Generally, I like Chloe designs

1st and 2nd outfit are fine... not too keen about the bubble dress and shoes though.

I love the volumes and the proportions, color palette too,and the shoes make the outfits stand out they clash i love it,and those spring 2003 balenciaga sandals have nothing in common i think its one of the best collections wait untill you see the full thing ;)

No, you dont think they sort of look like these?

Thank you kindly for saying that, I think a little oddity like the shoes can make or break the entire collection. Sometimes, a little bit of ugly is good.

Some of the dresses just seem so... akward. Im not too keen on the silhouettes, and definately not a fan of the shoes...

I liek the look more than the actualle pieces, exept the first dress is very nice.
the ethreal dresses with the blocky shoes is great.

Hmm, can't say I like it...I think I'm just sort of sick of volume and poof and excess fabric....not to mention that I wanna rip that dumb bow off of that one dress, and the shoes aren't bad by themselves, but they're way to clunky to wear with a soft dress like that.

I  the last dress and paired with the chunky shoes - the soft/hard contrast works well imo

Don't mind the shoes and don't mind the outfit, but not when they are paired together.
And it is weird, Balenciaga is really become more "Chloe-esque" and vice versa.

I dont see why because she adds a little volume its suddenly balenciaga i think this collection is so chloe feminine and light
