Got my from Chloe' Bahrain back in April. Robby Ingham & Cactusjam International stock Chole handbags both silverado and paddington. What color are you after?

The one that Kirsten Dunst and Nicole Richie carry, not sure what you'd call it

Kirsten, Nicole have the cognac color(original brown) and that color was came out for fall 04. I don't think you can get it from the boutiques any more. Your only resource is ebay which is very rare to find one and be careful 90% of the bags on ebay are fakes.

The owner of Cactusjam has one in that color too.

roey - the tote is not too big. My sister got one in red the same color with Jessica. I try her one on and it fits me well not to big on me, I'm only 5'2" and it's much more roomy than the medium one though. She's not living near by otherwise I would take a picture and post it for you.

Does anyone here own the Silverado tote with the open top? I have the medium Silverado in tan that I only used once and although I love the style, I keep lusting for the tote - can't find it anywhere in tan though! Maybe someone here can tell me it's too big and impractical for the extra $380 and kill my lemming.

It very well may be retired because I called BG this morning after seeing the red tote on their site. They said it was the last one available because the item is being discontinued. I figured since there is only one it was probably a return and didn't purchase.

I would try Nordstrums and see if Neiman's might be able to track one down. I can not believe they retired this style. It is beautiful.

Bagqueen, not to doubt you, but the SA was talking about the python original cognac, and not the leather? I think there will be a cognac leather silverado.

There are a lot of knock-offs for the silverado already. When I was in Asia this summer, I even saw some bad replicas at a stationary section of a store (citysuper)!
Maybe off topic, but if you had to choose only one, which would you buy, paddington or silverado? Can they even be compared?
