the medium is a good size for me. it also looks really sturdy... as opposed to the balenciaga moto bags. i absolutely love motos, but for my next bag, i'm going to get a sturdier bag.

the chloe paddington looks more versatile than the silverado.
the silverado will not look very well with business-type attires,
i don't think.

I would be happy to get my hands on ANY size Paddington bag...but the med looks small to me especially for how much it costs

Also the NY boutique has Paddington in black. But everyone here said Paddington is not in stores yet. Can anyone in London or NY verify this, please?

I've been to the Chloe store in London and they say that they "cant hold bags for anyone" but I dont believe them!! All I can say is that Chloe in London and everywhere else, have gigantic long waiting lists!!
The Paddingtons are not in stores yet, they are meant to be out in March.

I just spoke to the SA in the Chloe NY boutique today, and she said they have the Paddington in black, and rumor had it that Bergdorf Goodman in NYC already had the Paddington in tan and brown... but when I called Bergdorf, they denied having it in already... it sounded really sketchy though, because the person I spoke to sounded very hesitant, and would not divulge any more information.

In any case, the Chloe NY SA said that the Paddington in brown and tan should come in any day now...

ATTENTION: those who own python silverados!

quick question for those lucky enough to own a python silverado...

i finally saw (and held!) a Chloe bag today made of python (brown one pictured below), and it was pretty matte in person, which is great, because I don't like the super-shiny snakeskin (I think it makes it look cheap)... it was also VERY SOFT!!!! incredible. it was not like any other python skin i had touched... it did not feel reptile-y at all... i was amazed!!!

Anyway, my question is, do you know if the python skin used for this bag is the same as the silverado (matte, soft, etc)... any info would be great! Thanks!

yes its the same although the exact placement of the bigger vs larger scales varies bag to bag.
my handles have the small scales and the middle of the front of my bag has big scales...
its pretty much exactly like the one thats pictured in the original silverado pic...
although i have seen one that had big scales on the handles... and small scales where i have big scales... but it just deepnds if you're that picky (i am).

instyle, is the new brown python that color pictured?

meowmix, i know what you mean about the big vs. small scales... i am very picky also!!!

i am so excited to get my silverado in march... especially if the snakeskin is going to be that soft and matte...

I WISH the brown were that color, but I don't think so... i think it will be darker. that color is gorgeous though, isn't it?!?!

Just saw the Paddington in the latest Neiman Marcus "The Book," which should boost demand even more! I was lucky enough to get on the waitlist early in December, so I'm hoping for a call :-) Meanwhile, I love my python Silverado. I recall a post asking about the size for a petite person; I'm 5'2" and about 105 lbs, but I like to make a statement with my bags, so I really don't worry too much about the size. The Chloes definitely work....

I just got on the waitlist for the Paddington and the Silverado not too long ago.

I think I am too late and may have to wait for the next season's shipment to arrive if they make them anymore.

I was really confused about what I wanted...and got on the waitlist for the wrong colour. In the end I still settled on brown for both bags.

Plan to take a look at them before deciding which one to buy...

Hi gals, I found this listing for a Silverado from a Ebay auction. Any idea if the bag is authentic from the pictures attached?

Am really tempted to bid...but authenticity is always an issue.
