hi.. when does the new dark brown python silverado come out? Is it almost impossible to get them now?

Can someone give me suggestions on which stores might still take names on their list?

hey pucci mama -- can you post a pic of the natural diamond? I ordered mine so long ago I can barely remember what it looks like! and according to my order confirmation, I'm not getting it until May -- blah. I assume no one has seen this bag in person?

yeah, the pic in the ad is much better (I hope that that is what the bag really looks like!) I'm not on a waiting list -- I bought mine from the Bergdorf's site (and in the large, which is really hard to find). I couldn't believe my eyes but there they were, for about 5 minutes. even though snake creeps me out, it's the only silverado I will buy, at least until they go back to using leather stitching (in my life, the satin wouldn't stand a chance).

I forgot to say "THANKS!" -- too quick with the trigger. the more I look at the bag the more I don't really like the snakey pattern (I realize it's snake but do I constantly have to reminded of this?) I like how the original brown just looks like vintagey leather. does anyone have a pic of the new dark brown?

The new Dark Brown is out already, but if you're not already on the list at the Chloe boutique, it will be hard to locate one. That's because Neiman's, Bergdorf's, etc. didn't order any in this color. (There are actually 2 Dark Browns: one for Spring and one for Summer.)

I have no idea why they chose not to order any (since the color was bound to be popular again), but they didn't. So this will definitely make finding one more of a challenge than if there were more of them out there circulating.

The color is very hard to appreciate from pictures: the leather is a dark chocolate-y brown and the python is varying shades of lighter to dark brown. However, the few pictures I've seen of it don't do it justice - it's really MUCH prettier in person.

Oh, I'm sure you'll find one if you're tenacious enough - it just makes things a little trickier since the sources are so limited in the first place.

Hi hi hi...

I am new here and all that info on the Silverado has motivated me to sign on!!!

Have just fallen in love with the Silverado...after all that Paddington-hype which has just made the silverado more appealing to me!!! Weird, huh? I must be too slow to get on the "it" bag bandwagon!! Furthermore, it is only AFTER a trip to Europe where I saw one of the more gorgeous Silverado, black/green snake skin small, in Selfridges but was not interested then! Now, being back in Asia, where these bags are totally inaccessible, I've to go and fall in love!!! What a nut!!!

Will the Silverado be a regular Chloe bag, like the bracelet bags, which comes out every season albeit in new colours and materials? The bags come in Large, Medium and Small? What are the prices for the snake skin ones? Anyone knows what the current season Silverados are like, apart from those in the website? Having seen the leather ones on the arms of fabulously gorgeous Parisians, I am inclined to get one of the snake-skin ones, although I've been seriously discouraged by my parents' discomfort with reptilian skin products....hmmmm....

Would appreciate any advise...thanking all in advance!!!

I always worry that when bags sell out then pop up later it's because they've been returned (and you never know what condition they'll be in). a GF had to return a bag she got like this from NM because it was so obviously used (and they just threw it in a box with no tissue or anything!)

i'm pretty new to this forum... but i am really interested in buying a brown silverado.. but i am located in Canada. does anyone know where i can get one or are they pretty much sold out everywhere? Can i get onto a waitlist?..... i called the NY boutique but they aren't taking anymore names for the silverado and they don't ship internationally!!!

There was just one listed on Ebay by a reputable seller - I know it's authentic. It's a large, brown with ribbon whipstitching, not leather, but it is beautiful..just so you know, for a large bag, the price will be most likely $3500 or more!! Or you could email the seller and ask if she'll take an offer - it can't hurt

$3500 even though it's used -- has it become that insane? I think the ribbon stitching description is a mistake -- I don't think they ever used ribbon on the python bags.
