Thanks! was looking at the tobacco color one in the color of the paddington leather and the python is a little lighter in color. I just love python. There is something about it that I must have it. I guess I have the handbag bug.

and re the metallic python bags, i also recall some discussion about the gold leaf coming off of the bags...
i've been using my silverado almost everyday now, whereas i used to be scared to use it fearing that the scales may "curl" too much, but i think it's aging pretty well... the scales are curling a bit, but it doesn't look bad. it's still just as beautiful. i do think the durability of the python bags will vary because some scales may be softer as thus curl easier and some may be harder...
I just bought the Cognac non-python small Silverado from Nordstrom today. 
The Nordstrom at Garden State Plaza mall in Paramus, NJ has; brown snakeskin ($2600), burgundy snakeskin ($2400), small black leather ($1200), large black leather ($1400) and a small pink leather ($1200). Happy shopping!!!

!!!How do the brown and the burgundy snakeskin look? Is the brown one similar to the one currently available on LuisaviaRoma? Burgundy sounds new...
The prices seem to have increased for the python silverados....

the new Silverado only comes in medium size. they don't have much stock, but i guess they still have the two tone brown silverado in stock. and they will have more Silverado comes.
the original price is $16800 HKD, VIP usually gets 10 to 15% discount. also i heard that we can pre-order it at Lane Crawford, Lane Crawford's VIP card holder also has 10% off. even though only VIP gets discount, but if you provide my VIP no. or phone no., u can also deserve discount from these companies.
yeah, HK is a nice place to shop no matter cheap or high ended staffs. i know many Japanese friends come to H.K. for Chanel, Bottega Veneta and Gucci. i am very exciting the Harvery Nicholas will be open on Sep, a new place to shop!!!
Hey, I note that many of you are from HK. I'm travelling to HK on this 19 August and would like to ask for some help about finding a chloe paddington bag there. I tried to communicate with Chloe HK via fax a few days ago but haven't heard from them yet.

. This must be a new colour. The new Fall-Winter '05-06 colours I know and heard of so far did not include this colour. Plum, Burgundy and other purple shades seem to be big this season. Have seen a Plum Mulberry Roxanne which is very nice.
