I need some help. I found a bag on ebay that looks authentic from the pics: 5432351681. What do you think? The problem is that she got it from fashion-for-less which is notorious for selling fake Chloe python silverado bags. Is it possible that they actually sold her an authentic bag??

I would not take a chance. Notice that she and fashion for less got into an ebay tiff and she has also purchased from mushroom city who has questionable merchandise. If the bag is so great, why is she trying to sell it so soon and you can't tell if those pictures are of the bag you will receive.

I agree with cougess.
In fact, my friend also saw this auction and wanted to place a bid for it but I dissuaded her against it because of exactly the same reasons that cougess stated. Plus I am really skeptical about fashion-for-less which has always sold replicas, AFAIK.
Bottomline is, if something is too good to be true, it usually is

I think it looks real(beautiful bag!), but just check your bag for defects to be safe!

Thanks, cougess and chiangsi! I was -this- close to BIN, but decided to follow up with the person who had previously chose to BIN and backed out. You're both right; it's just that I would LOVE to own the original cognac python. Know what I mean? Although I shouldn't be too upset; I have a black Givenchy pumpkin in the mail.

No all three colors were in the traditional silverado style (i.e. not the doctor's bag)

What do you think of the medium doctor bag...is it too big for an everyday bag? I know there is a large doctor bag, but I'm debating over the medium. I'd appreciate any help I can get!!

I think the medium doctors will be perfect as an everyday bag..I am assuming that it is the same size as the medium silverado, so it should be good for a chequebook wallet, keys, cellphone. lipsticks and some more.

Plus i think the medium doctors looks so much nicer than the large doctor in terms of appearance

I dont think the medium doctor would be at all too big for an everyday bag. The more stuctured shape hasn't gown on me though, I really preffer the original silverado.

Thanks girls for your reply!!! I'm new to Chloe and I really want to give it a try. I've been debating about whether to try and get a paddington off of eBay...of course, from a reputable seller, but I know I'll pay dearly. I saw the silverado doctor bag today and it was really nice. I've never seen either in person, except for the silverado today.

Another question for you.....does the medium silverado have the same leather as these new doctor bags? I see that I can get a brown medium off of aloha rag. Will it be the same kind of leather and same color of brown as I saw today on the doc bag or does it change from season to season?

That's wierd - maybe they do have 2 of the same - may I ask when you purchased it and if they sent you tracking info.

I paid $1800 w/o shipping. They've been really good at answering my questions, apparently the bag has only been used for a photoshoot so a little funny that they would have 2 of the same. Anyhow will keep you all posted!

I assumed you meant you bought your sister's bag from rag-nation!
