Thanks so much for your photo's and information. Ihave a chocolate brown and black python doctors bags on there way and I was regretting it. Now I am not. I can only keep one so I will have to see which is better chocolate brown or black. Big decisions.

bagqueen, GET CHOCOLATE i debating on cancelling my preorder... although they(doctor & silverado) look quite similar, i kinda like the look more with the two textures on the silverados with the leather and python...plus the silverados have the outside pockets.

trying to figure out if the more python on the doctor bag is more appealing...would love to hear anyone's opnion

not sure if this has been asked, but the sa at nords said the resort line for python silverado will come in cafe...does anyone know what color this is, because they don't

eclecticbagz, there's a large python silverado on ebay (6811915357) that may give you an idea of what the python doctors look like.. of course the bag is a teeny bit larger than the medium doctor but might help you decide..

EVERYONE!!!

I received my silverado Python with my spy today!! I AM SOO HAPPY.

The python is used as well but in very very good conditon. (except some little peeling on the python) I found the dark brown's python actually is not as good quality as my Cognac one.

I have to decide which one to let go!! The dark brown one is large size which seems huge to me!!! but my bf suggested I should keep the newer one ( which is dark brown) ... I am not sure... Seems the Cognac is more rare.. also the better size for me. It will be a painful decision!

cherie, what a hard choice!! i like the chocolate python color a bit better, but i like the size of your cognac better... guess i'm not much help, huh?

i'd probably vote for the cognac, just based on size alone - my medium silverado is plenty big for me, and i'd be worried that the large would just be too big.. but you really can't lose with either bag!!

cherie - I definately vote for the cognac because size wise it suits you more and most of all the cognac color is beautiful. I saw a choc brown IRL and didn'tt really like the python skin as mentioned to you before.

Here's a pic of my chocolate python silverado. At first I thought the one posted before was similar, but mine seems more uniform in color. Not sure they're the same color/bag

is your one large or med? i think your one is darker color compare to my one, as klow said.. i think your one is the current season.

I think what i should do is i would take some pics of myself holding the bag and post here tomorrow. so you gals can choose which one will be more suitable for me.

my bf said large size will suit me better but I really love the Cognac color.. hard choice!!

I'm really loving all of these glaxed python bags. When I got mine, I didn't know they came in glazed or matte, or else I would have gotten glazed

question for girls that have seen the chocolate Paddington AND Silverado - if you got one of each of the same color - would they be way too much the same? Are the colors different for each bag as the leather is different? Would love thoughts - thank you! I have a naturel silverado now which I recently got rid of - love the style but the color didn't work for me. The chocolate seems gorgeous, but I have a choc Paddy on the way so I don't want too close to the same.

surprisingly, the picture of sugars silverado looks tiny to me compared to socals doctor bag considering they are the same dimensions...

socal mentioned the dr bag fitting nicely over shoulders...is that the same with the silverado because by looking at the pic above, the straps look really short to be worn on shoulders.

The medium dr seems a bit taller and narrower at the top than the medium silverado. The strap drop is a bit longer. It fits my shoulder better than the silverado (although I could carry the silverado on my shoulder, the drop was shorter so it did not hang quite as well). I can measure the dr later...

In terms of python dr vs. python silverado... I like the shape (appearance) and contrast of the leather/python on the silverado. I like the fit of the doctor on the shoulder.

Cherie, I vote for the cognac although the chocolate brown is absolutely lovely too! Tough decision.

Keep the cognac. It is a very rare bag and the "original" python silverado. It will hold its value much longer than the brown. Also, if you are small (like everyone else on this board except for me....and I'm "normal" size) the large may be too big for you. B)
