Christian Dior ‘Lady Dior’ Handbags 2025 : Mikey Madison, Greta Lee & Mia Goth by David Sims

I love this campaign, here jwa’s dior shines. His use of flowers is delicate, sweet and a little bit reminiscent of Rafs use of florals at Dior. I love those bags actually, they’re super cute and make me excited. The fashion is what’s lacking so far, but in terms of world building and imagery it’s all working.

To quote from their INS: "Women, with their intuitive instinct, understood that I dreamed not only of making them more beautiful, but happier too." , but JWA makes them look like miserable juveniles!

The clothes look terrible already... Greta's bag is kinda cute, though.

I don't mind it, but it feels very spring-summer, unless it's trying to evoke a sense of endless summer where life is always light and bright.

When you're heading into autumn and towards the holiday season, it's time for dramatic colours and deep luxury and the very best that you've got.

I'm extremely over this neo-prep aesthetic already, but at least the still life shots have some tension that the fashion is sorely lacking.

The black Dior wordmark is jarringly amateurish.

I wish the Dior was either white or grey. The black wordmark is indeed a bit amateurish as @hamburgers said.

Ok, this gives a little bit more perspective into his Dior and is almost in total contrast to the looks we saw during the Venice film festival but also quite in line with the menswear.

Something about the Atmosphere of it has a very Miss Dior feel to it. I think about the Miss Dior campaigns under Galliano. And even close to Portman’s earlier campaigns. A kind of very soft, sugary, Marie-Antoinette by Coppola feel but portrayed by young women as opposed to teenage girls (or young women who favors teenagers).

It’s interesting.
I don’t know if the styling suggest that the new Dior woman will borrow her man’s polo shirt in the same way that she used to borrow Hedi’s jeans and blazers during the Galliano era?

I’m not a Lady Dior person, I would have preferred seeing the new booktote but the bags are cute. They are lady Dior…

This feels very Dior and I like it. I also love them as ambassadors and not just because they photograph fantastically (Though Greta definitely steals the show). Even the brand has so many, too many ambassadors at this point. I really like how JW approaches his relationship with his favorites. It feels very Karl in a way and I am looking forward to see how it translates further into his tenure.

Like Lola said, this instantly reminded me of Victoire de Castellane jewelry which a very strong yet not at all exploited aesthetic of the house. Despite the juvenile fixation of MGC.

The shot of Greta on the grass and Mia with the grey bag are the best. But Mikey looks great too. The seemingly bare face, the hair, it gives this Marie Antoinette in her Petit Trianon era effortlessly.
And really like the four clover leaf embossed bag and the daisy one. Trying not to focus on the clothes since it is a bag campaign, but hope he will deliver more than that..

The campaign has pleasant and calming moments. Mia Goth is my favorite in the casting. The double-page shot of her laying on the floor is really good.

For a brand to have elements which are not so commonly recognised is a hidden strength in the current days of companies flogging their house "codes" to death on every piece they churn out for consumption on social media.

Love this, so inviting. He definitely knows how to sell and all the ambassadors each holds their own and blend effortlessly into this concept. I like how the gilded and moiré touches are barely there... this looks more actual stealth than Loro and the likes.

Beautiful and captivating, I must admit I was ready to hate JW’s direction. I love the composition, especially how everything exudes femininity. Mia and Greta look stunning, it’s almost painful to compare with Mikey’s shots… and I say this as a big fan.

Cute and Desirable bags. They're aiming for an effortless, nonchalant and soft mood here, but the styling and integration of the RTW feel forced.
