Ahaha. I’m there.
Lesage can make embroideries for other houses but Chanel is their main client. All the brands at 19M can work for others but Chanel is their first client already by the number of collections.
I know Dior occasionally works with Vermont but the large portion of their embroideries is done in India.
I think Vuitton has a lot more of their pieces embroidered in France than Dior.

She was an accessory designer who happened to be in the right place at the right time when she got promoted at Valentino. Somewhere along the way, she rebranded herself as a fashion designer. At her core, she’s great at making sellable bags and shoes which was something LVMH was well aware of when they hired her.

Indeed… it’s crazy someone like her has been at the helm of Dior for so many years. Yes, it’s been a commercial success, but she’s so… untalented as a designer. She’s a great marketer though.
