I found them cute but I need to remove the Dior logo. Is it structurally possible? Those pumps will get soooo dirty after 10 steps on the street. Buyer beware!
I said this when the DiOr bags were first shown, but I wish brands would have confidence in good design. Brands can be recognizable from good design alone without needing to put a brand name or logo on it. House codes exist for a reason!I'm sorry but I'm finding the accessories to be extremely ugly, overdesigned, trying so hard to be "cool" and "edgy":
- Those 100% low quality zamak / brass alloy aged gold Dior badges put on bags and shoes. I wonder if they are gonna tarnish after 2 wears like Versace costume jewelry...
- The "D i o r" hardware in those suede messengers screams "look at me I am wearing Dior" status symbol
- Those weirdly shaped loafers for both menswear and womenswear
So far I'm only saving the revamped Book Totes (even though they are kinda gimmicky in my opinion).
I wish he didn't show the Oblique motif on the runway / lookbook, he can leave that to the merchandise team.
Looking through the collection made me think there's either nowhere to put my curves, or there's so much fabric that I would look like a barn covered in bunting. His experiments bringing pannier skirts to the 21st century have been unsuccessful so far.If you are someone with hips, JWA's Dior is really not for you. If you are someone without shape, JWA's will give you the cartoon version of a curvy body.
I don’t know if you went to Dior stores during the MGC era and particularly before her era…The MGC relics are probably the only things that will sell.
Ughhh, can it be more PRETENTIOUS???Yikes. ! Its not a bad collection just not my thing, its seem very American mom but make it paris. I guess I don't understand it. Is it chic ? Jonathan is just not my cup of tea. I wish him the best though. I guess i feel like the old dior fans before John got into the house.

I don't know how many Americans are on this page, but in the Midwest in the south we Have a lot of deep christians, and they wear extremely long , casual denim skirts.Ughhh, can it be more PRETENTIOUS???
I HATE that look! It's so corny and sucré. Even the pose, the styling. Gives me cramps.
Also, I am sure that skirt comes from the merch team asking him to do long denim skirts that sold a lot under MGC. Looks nothing like JW.
It's like he doesn't have any creative freedom. Although maybe he has and he ran out of ideas.

I love this look the most because of how streamlined it is, especially the blouse paired with that gold necklace. It's very chic, very elegant. He prefers a more relaxed and slouchy attitude and that can be a very interesting style of creation. Taking very constructed garments and deconstructing to make them look more natural, more spontaneous. Definitely curious what he would do with very formal gowns. It's harder to make them look off the cuff.

He you goNo sense of luxury here. If I were Bernard Arnault, I would force Delphine to wear the ugliest looks here, as a form of punishment for her "brilliant" idea to put JWA as the new CD for Dior.
