Comme des Garçons Parfum "Sweet" Series 7

How exciting. B) I would be interested in smelling the Wood Coffee and Nomad Tea. Are they available at the NY store yet?

Nomad Tea sounds really good... I've never worn "food" scents before but maybe I should try one of these out.

The bottles are very different for CdG. I like Nomad Tea the best...can't wait to smell it!

I went out and bought wood coffee right away, it's so very nice...the bottles are actually quite smaller than I imagined...

What do you mean Helena?

Sorry nqth. I meant "it's not working", meaning the pics weren't working when I looked last (although they are now). Abbreviated to "s'not working". Sorry for confusion.

I like the bottles anyway, they are nice.

That's no problem, Helena:-)

I didn't understand if the pics weren't loading, or the "concept of the perfumes" woundn't work:-)

Birdofparadise, congrat:-)

I think I will get either Coffee or Cake:-P, although the Sugar smells like cardamon-vanilla milk on the card now, nice, too.

Where did you go? CDG boutique?

Oh dear I really don't like the bottles. They are completely different to the other "Series" bottles, which were all quite plain and simple. I think that worked with what is essentially a "diffusion range" of scents. Nqth is right, it's very Dover Street Market, just not sure about it myself. The bottles are entirely feminine, not even "asexual". This puts me off a little, I must admit.

They are all 50 ml, for 56 euro (or 80 dol.)

Faust, I've read that the Chelsea boutique has them.

The Comme card said

Sweet Confrontation
The clash and clang of all things SWEET

The concept
The ritual of SWEET: what is sweet, who is sweet, how sweet or not sweet can sweet be.

The myriad dimensions of SWEET as personified by the varied guests at an imagined tea party in some caravanserai in the Land of Sweet.

The bottles:
Every bottle is different and appropriate to its particular kind of SWEET. We had to go to the depths of the Chinese countryside to find a factory willing to make these sweet and pretty bottles.

They are manufactured semi-industrially: hand finished by Chinese artisans of glass.

"The myriad dimensions of SWEET as personified by the varied guests at an imagined tea party in some caravanserai in the Land of Sweet."

LOL. And the Psued's Corner award goes to....

I love that about comme though. It's so daft sometimes, that it's funny.

True, she somehow always does it in such a SWEET way

Their perfumes descriptions sound "naively", too:-))

I quite fancy hanging out in the Land of Sweet for a wee while. I live in the Land of Sour.
