puh, it's all quite confusing...that's why i was trying to make a seperate thread for one collection because you, softgrey, always tell everyone to do so....originally i was thinking about posting them in the avantgarde thread...whatever, let's seperate eighties and nineties then...and what do i do if i have some yamamoto pictures from the early nineties

i know...it really did become a bit of a mish mosh...i'm just trying to stay organized without interfering to much with the natural 'flow' of things...

i think because there aren't many pics from before the internet...
it's okay to group them together...

but EACH DESIGNER..MUST be separate...

wow, i got some crazy deja vu reading this thread! amazing!

what i really love about this is that some of the new-er stuff has such an apocolyptic feeling to me, which is perfectly fine with me, as that's something i'm always really attracted to, but some of this era is almost so innocent in comparison, and that juxtaposition is really intriguing..not to say that it's not edgy, but maybe just having seen the more recent stuff at this point, it's easy to look back and compare a little bit..

this is coming out weird, but i just mean that i do really love it and it's great to see how the collections have come over the years.

I especially like the polka dot dress with the hat.

Most of the pictures don't look dated but to be honest some of them aren't all that innovative, either; they are kept too basic for that.

Guys I have this CDG shirt I got a long time ago off ebay...but I'm not sure when it's from...it's a kind of see through material with thickly knit sleeves and then these lung or wing shapes stitched onto the back, almost as if they were pockets...its an off white color
