I love Converse myself (I own 4 pairs!!) and have been wearing them on and off for the last 15 years, but I am also interested in this brand called "No Sweat". They make shoes that look just like Converse, but without the sweatshop workers. I have seen these sold at natural food stores, but you can also buy them online. Here's the link and a pic.

If you mean the tounge slipping down the side of the shoe then definatly. I find it very annoying!!

Got my first pair a couple of weeks ago, they're hi tops but i actually really like them lol, they we're on sale so i got them for about £20 and i was quite pleased lol! This is a pic from zappos where I first saw them, I couldn't believe I found them on a random day in town...!

When i was at school everybody, and i mean everybody would wear the bloody things with stupidly wide trousers and skater belts, yuck. However I really like the look of cream high tops with black or blue denim skinny jeans, yum!
Apart from that i think them as a no go.

I don't like the "customized" looking Converse, only the classic one colour ones.. I've gone through two pairs of black high tops and I've now (well, since May last year ) got a pair of low red chucks.. I love them. I want pink high tops though.
