I have the same pair, but I fear wearing them! I love them too much, and it's so muddy here in Washington.

It took me over a year to finally wear these awesome Vans I had gotten. I think that's what's going to happen with these. It's already been several months

I have a pair of black slip-ons. It cost $10 more (I think, can't quite remember) than the chucks. It's great because I hate tying shoelaces

I begged my mom (since I am broke on my own) to buy me red Converse after I saw Sin City. I never really wanted them before that, even though everyone in my school wears Converse.

I'm the only girl in school who has converse that arent black! Yay!

i have a couple of pairs that are my fave - wish i had pics to show you but nothing for now - one's white and has circles of yellow/pink/blue (very springy) and the other one kind of looks like graffiti. i get lots of compilments whenever i wear them. i think zappo has the best selection of chucks ever!

The link you posted doesn't work for me.

In my opinion, the more worn out your Converses are, the better. I love mine to look nice and aged. So I really have no idea how to keep them really clean...

washing machine clean them on the lowest temperture works ... allthough they come out a little stiff and cardboardy but they soon loosen up again... i agree i hate super clean converses they look very odd imo and kinda poserish =]

Ick I hate super clean converse shoes. But if they're WAY too beaten up they look a bit bad..so somewhere in between is perrrfect, for me anyway.

converses are SUPPOSED to look better with age and wear! you need to dirty them up, give them some character!
