Cover Rumor Thread

I'm really laughing at Lula. Are they trying to make people much more excited for the issue or what?

Maybe it's Natalia, considering she was one of the A-list attendee's at the 90th Anniversary party.

My fingers are quadruple-crossed that Sasha is the cover girl for the November VP. If not Sasha, then I wouldn't mind Anna. Natasha has more than enough covers under her belt and Sasha only has one group cover. She should AT LEAST have one single cover.

^The chances of Maryna grabbing the cover are extremely slim, but never say never!

i think is Sasha for the cover, just posted some pics in her thread from what it looks like the November VP, must be her, and also the typography is similar to the october issue
here

Hanne for Vogue Nippon? sure? that sounds really fantastic :) also cross fingers for Sasha on VP cover but if Maryna got it, I will be really, truly, surely the happiest guy on earth! Come on Miss Roitfeld take the plunge...

^ Hanne was shot by Matt Irwin for VN December issue editorial, so it doesn't mean she is on the cover.

Hilary for HB cover has been pushed back to December/January issue according Eli Mizrahi. :flower:

YAY Hanne for VN! I think Natasha will get the VP November.

I read somewhere that Isabeli's cover for VB is by Demarchelier, it's true?

Even tho I love Poly and I'd love to see another Vogue Paris for her, but I really would love to see Sasha, I think she deserves more this Vogue Paris, but just for the numbers, Natasha already has 6 covers, and Sasha 1 (?)... Any of this two russians for VP I'll be happy, they're both extrordinary!

Michelle Obama proclaims her passion for the performing arts in the November issue of Harper's Bazaar, but it's the first lady herself who takes center stage in the accompanying portfolio.

Photographed at the White House by Jason Schmidt, Mrs. Obama looks ravishing in a raspberry L'Wren Scott sheath paired with bright blue kitten heels. "Well," Mrs. O tells the magazine, "you got to get a color pop."

Speaking of pop, Justin Bieber is just one of the musicians who has made his way onto the Obama family playlist, along with artists from the worlds of opera, classical, and Motown, she reveals.

"In terms of my children... I don't want them to develop just one taste. I want them to feel the power in country as much as they feel it in Justin Bieber." Mrs. Obama of daughters Sasha and Malia. "There is some power in the Bieber!" she says, but insists, "We don't have Fever."

But Beatlemania? That's another story. "When Paul McCartney was here singing 'Michelle,' I was like, I'm done; I can go home now."

For her Bazaar profile, which focuses on performing-arts appreciation, the glamorous Mrs. Obama posed with members of the Howard University Choir and the Duke Ellington School of the Arts as well as dancers from Alvin Ailey, Joy of Motion Dance Center, and Bhangra Empire. She also fessed up to having dabbled in acting herself in a school production of a children's classic.

"I remember very early on being the good fairy in 'Hansel and Gretel' and having to sing a solo, which was humiliating," she recalls, adding that her stage attire offered some relief. "It was a little tutu fairy costume," she says, "and I liked [the role] because of the costume."
