OK I have a couple of questions prompted by the discussion of the Vogue Paris cover:
It seems like the rumor of Daphne on the cover was not unfounded, so shouldn't we expect to see a major ed of hers in an upcoming issue? My guess is that either the output from Daphne's shoot did not produce something cover worthy or that the output from another shoot unexpectedly produced something even better.
The possible Daphne switcheroo is prompting me to ask something that's been in the back of my mind for the past few months and that is if Rose Codero was intended to be on VP's March cover - see 'cause I had concocted some romantic story that she went in to shoot some run-of-the-mill ed and when the team looked at the photos, it was like this French accented gasp and Carine, et. al., decided to put her on the cover in a "this is so magnifique that it cannot be denied!" kinda way. The two flaws in my thinking is that one, Mert and Marcus don't shoot run-of-the-mill eds and two, there is a precedent for putting a newbie on the March cover of VP. So does anyone recall if it was planned or was there a switcheroo - and of course not necessarily my version of it?
