UK Elle is a joke. Perhaps they think this odd timing means they're capitalising on a gap in the market by appearing weeks after all the other magazines have come out, but I find myself losing all interest in seeing the issue, when I know the NEXT month's magazines are 10 days away from coming out.

The shops are getting as confused as us. The Tesco near me has three issues of Elle still on the shelves, whilst Emma Watson's issue is still sitting in the bundle bags elsewhere, beside the new issue? I have no idea what they're doing.

The Glamour UK Amy Schumer cover is very bad.
Its basically a portrait taken at a junket or for the film company.
The inside is also bad. It was taken for the NY Times in 2015.

I dont understand why they couldn't shoot her themselves OR buy in cover art from a proper shoot.

UK GQ, US Vogue, US Glamour and US Marie Claire have all shot her, as have UK Stylist and magazines like the hollywood reporter.

V odd.

^ they must be pretty desperate to have Amy on the cover, it's such a cheap move when they can't lift a recent shoot! They once had Taylor Swift guest edit and now they can't get Amy Schumer, a B lister at best, to shoot for them?

Just a speculation but maybe Julia Bergshoeff shot for VP? She posted some of her VP editorials on Instagram with #flashback. And she was in Paris these past days. I want her to get Vogue Paris cover so bad!

Btw, Vogue Paris May could be Anna Ewers. She shot for the magazine back in February at Venice Beach with some kids. And one of them said it's for May issue.

Maybe the Alexa Chung x Mario Testino shoot Alexandra Shulman and Alexa both discussed at some live talk session a while back, will surface on UK Vogue's upcoming May issue? I've liked every cover of Vogue since January with Ashley Graham, so I'm hopeful the May cover will be of some interest.. regardless of cover subject/model.

Derek Blasberg was on set somewhere with Katy Perry today too, I would imagine he's either shadowing her for an article or he was present for the cover shooting of it. It's been mentioned she more than likely has a Vogue coming up, maybe there'll be a Vanity Fair too?
