I wouldn't say because of the size of the country, Brazil is the biggest Latin America country and Vogue stills a elite magazine here, I still think it's because of the celebrities

I agree, especially because there is celebrity craze in the US (and it's getting worst IMO). So US Vogue does what people wanna see/buy (and in this case it's completely wrong, it's fashion mag, it's not supposed to be for WIDE public)

I wouldn't agree. I don't think Kate is very well known or recognizable. If they are going to put her on the Feb Vogue cover I think that's the reason she was in this month's issue as one of the "best dressed" which was a joke IMO - so that next month their subscribers wouldn't go "who the hell is that?". She really isn't famous enough to be on the cover as a "celeb" and I don't think she has an especially beautiful/interesting look like a model may have.

Add to that some of the magazines tend to heavily airbrush Kate and I think she'll be even less recognizable. I really don't think she'll come off well if Vogue shoot her in one of those ultra high concept haute couture style photo spreads - she'll look like a little girl playing dress-up.

I think it will be a while until the February issue since the last issue was a Dec/Jan.. which came out mid december

true... anyway, i'd love to see Lara, Marina P, Natasha or Natalia Vodianova on the cover. Sasha as a bad girl would be perfection too. and if it's Kate Moss i'll just go crazy and buy it no matter what the content is. but, to be honest, i don't think it's going to be any of them...
